Poor and frustrating communication and welcome
On arrival in the afternoon ,there was noone at reception( they had restricted hours) , and the water dispenser was empty ( and stayed that way for the next day). I was told that my room had no Aircon ( while some did) , which was not emphasised at my online booking site, despite the heatwave, and the small bar fridge was warm.There is no phone in the rooms to reception, and I found that I couldn't turn the shower on, and there is no instruction via a diagram nor in writing how to do this. I was kept waiting in the foyer the next morning for them to find an assistant to personally demonstrate how to turn on the the shower. I bear some responsibility for not speaking German, but none of the staff spoke English, except the reception on Day One ( limited). Breakfast is expensive, so I suggest eating in the bakery across the road. The TV mechanism was dodgy, and needed yet another trip down the stairs to tell reception. I had considered continuing my stay , but that's now out of the question due to their poor means of communication.

Wow Dormero!
This June 2023 - 2 night stay was absolutely delightful. The staff was friendly and cordial. The hotel was very quite. The Dormero Hotel was the perfect stay for exploring the Bauhaus in Dessau. There are several great restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was terriffic. I have included photos. Thanks for the welcoming hospitality Dormero.

this property is not a hotel, more like a safe house for refugee women and children?! I had to stay there for two nights, as the other hotel in Dessau was booked for the time.

Convenient, budget, location ok.
Convenient, acceptable hotel, good location for Dessau. Good value for money, although breakfast seemed expensive - and the coffee machine did not work properly. Nice to see some facilities being used for Ukranians.

Frühstück erster Tag ,katastrophal ,nur ein Mitarbeiterin und diese dann auch vollkommen überfordert zb.Kaffeeautomat defekt und nur eine Tasse Kaffee aus Pumpkanne und danach nichts mehr!! Essen Auswahl sehr überschaubar.Zweite Tag zwei bis drei hilfskräfte etwas besser ,aber nicht gut. Die Mitarbeiterin am ersten Tag konnte einen leid tun.

Wir hatten uns ein ruhiges Zimmer gewünscht und hatten sogar schon die Schlüsselkarte für ein ruhiges Zimmer zum Innenhof bekommen. Leider war dort schon jemand untergebracht und wir bekamen ein anderes Zimmer an der Straße/ Kreuzung Fußgängerzone. Dort war es nachts Recht lebendig und am Sonntagmorgen um 7.00 Uhr kam die Straßenkehrmaschine, um dann vier Mal dort vorbei zu fahren. Das war nicht so, wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten. Das Zimmer ansonsten war top, sehr gut ausgestattet und mit kostenfreien Getränken. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich.

Ein zentrales Hotel, fussläufig zum Bahnhof. Das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Leider war das Frühstück nicht so berauschend. Es gab zu wenig Personal, das überfordert war. An einem Tag war eine Busgesellschaft anwesend, da ging dann gar nichts mehr.
