Decent hotel, rough part of town

The staff was courteous and the room was pretty decent, be forewarned though that the area where the hotel is located is kind of sketchy so it's not the safest stay you'll have. On about the third or fourth day of my stay there was an incident in the lobby where during the night a glass door was shattered, luckily I was in my room woth the door secured so didn't notice until I left in the morning to visit family(which is why I was on the trip. Overall if you're travelling solo and are cautious of your surroundings this can be a good inexpensive hotel to stay at, if you are travelling with your family I'd consider a hotel in a safer part of town.

Overall I rate my 3-day experience (Jul 18-20, 2024)as average...but barely. The hotel is under some nice renovation, which explains some of the noise and dirtiness. However, I had to change rooms twice due to the toilet was not working in my first room and the television remote did not work in my second room. When I finally got a room, other than the constant noise of a leaking toilet, the room was nice and comfortable....large refrigerator, nice sink and microwave, along with a clean bathroom. There was a small pile of dirt on the closet area floor, due to renovations. The fitness center was under renovation so that was a little disappointing along with only coffee being served in the dining area. The staff was nice and friendly, however. This hotel definitely needs to work on cleanliness, despite renovations going on. I would not recommend staying there at this point, until everything is completed.

the elevator was a little scary it shook and is not clean in the cracks. but overall, I give this new looking hotel a 5 star, KI love the full size refrigerator.

Updated rooms everything was in excellent condition, when I visit home again this will be my hotel to stay at. They do charge $100.00 incidental fee for the room, if you damage anything in the room. My stay was 5 days, checked out Monday and my $100.00 deposit was back on my card by Wednesday.

Worst hotel ever!!! Beside the pool actually being a heated pool and the hot tube being hot. The bathrooms in the pool area lights wouldn't turn on so I had to use my phone to be able to pee. The 2 ladies at the front desk said when I was checking in that they only had one room left and they had previously tried to put another couple in there, but they wanted to be moved because the beds sheets were dirty, and they said "we don't know how to change the bedsheets" so you want me to believe you never change bedsheets in your entire life at home? They don't even have a continental breakfast not even a coall continental breakfast no continental breakfast at all. But they got a goddamn toaster in the lobby in a microwave. Our room has a kitchen in it. They have no kitchen supplies. For the money I paid I could've stayed somewhere better.

Bed Bugs

Bed bugs my daughter was sleep work up to a bed bug on her pillow and bit her 3 times made a video of it and they said they weren't liable so it's a disgusting place and horrible staff!
