This day started off to a bad start. They said I had paid for breakfast, but I didn’t choose a breakfast option. They wouldn’t refund anything. I didn’t eat any of their breakfast. The employees are not very helpful very rude. When you asked him any questions they don’t try to make anything, right They just refer you back to Hotels.com. I looked at my receipt on Hotels.com. I didn’t see where I had paid for breakfast on the receipt. They insisted I did. We didn’t eat breakfast there and they wouldn’t credit anything back. The rooms were not very clean. There wasn’t enough towels in the room. Don’t know why the rooms wouldn’t at least be stocked with four towels. They only had one towel in there. I had to call down to housekeeping to get a towel, valet guys are not very nice when I called to ask a question they were very put off and then I was still talking and they had hung up the line

I love the pool area and surroundings, the lobby is fine , the rooms are great the people working there are very friendly.However this was my third and last stay there. It is just a calaminity of errors from the front desk and service from the hotel. Check in was great and so happy as we arrived two days before our cruise to use the pool and see Ft Lauderdale. However we got to the room and the phone did not work and no safe in the room. We had to go back downstairs 12 floors and advise. They said we will send someone up immediately. Two hours later someone came to fix the safe. I said you cannot fix it as we have no safe. I go back downstairs and tell them again about the phone and safe. We wait another hour and a half and I go back downstairs. We have now missed lunch, 31/2 hours of our pool time. They send someone up with a safe and a phone guy. They leave I go to make a drink, Not one wine glass, not one drinking glass and he is fixing the phone so I go back downstairs 12 floors, fourth time. Now I have to wait until housekeeping arrives with glasses and I ask for both kinds. Housekeeping arrives with wine glasses no drinking glasses, we reorder drinking glasses and have to wait and then have to tip the guy. Breakfast the next day was absolutely disgusting, cold coffee, cold and dry scrambled eggs, very little to choose from besides the fruit, and a dried cold pancake. I had to ask about the credit per room which I found out about from another guest. Much more to add but

The staff was not the friendliest. False advertisement for areas that should’ve been opened and never seemed to be opened. Limited dining. The $20 rewards to use for the coffee and snack stand is misleading because once you use it, you get charged $30 for activating the activities fee. Utilizing the café with the $20 rewards they give you activates the $30 activity fee. It is a complete rip off.

I paid for a king bed room but when I got there they said they didn’t have any left. Said it was due to purchasing on a 3rd party app vs purchasing through them. They said it was Expedia that sold me the room, not them. Be aware that you could purchase a room and be told it was a different room upon arrival.

Enjoyable stay, a suggestion would be to ensue there are glasses (made of glass) in the rooms rather than plastic. Having available filtered water and ice on the floors would be very attractive as well (rather than handing out warm plastic bottles of water at the front desk). Kudos to the change to in-shower dispensers for shampoo rather than little plastic bottles. efinately a great location for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (with water taxi dock close by).
