Great Location
Riverside Hotel was a great stay for my work trip to Fort Lauderdale. I was able to walk to dinner and enjoyed the Riverwalk. Great location and the hotel will be even nicer when the construction is finalized.

The staff was wonderful! The room however, was lacking. I know they are doing renovations, and we must have been in the part that has not been renovated yet. There was a 2 inch gap underneath our door, so we could hear everything in the hallway. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. But the worst part was that the sensor lights that come on when you walk around would just randomly come on all night long. I had to sleep with a tee shirt over my face so that the lights would stop waking me up. Then the fire alarm went off at 6:30 AM. That was just the cherry on top. 😅

Would not book there again.
We stayed in the Micro suites which we found out are on the older side of the building where construction is being done. Room felt like a cell. Window had a glazed film on it so no window view . Room smelled old and musty. We tried to upgrade but hotel was booked. Not a good experience probably will not book there again .

The location was close to many dining and shopping options. Riverside Boathouse dining was excellent. The River Walk was time well spent. I only wish the room came with black out curtains.
