Great location! Close proximity to parking. Steps from the beach! Helpful, courteous staff. Air conditioning was cold! Great restaurants to walk to and enjoy the boardwalk. I would stay here again and again!

Noisy and Poorly Managed Stay I recently stayed at the Sheldon Hotel (Booking #72988473868830) and had a very disappointing experience. • Constant Noise: Renovation work during the day and poor soundproofing at night made it impossible to rest. • Parking Issues: My brother’s car was booted unfairly while picking me up, even though he had paid for parking. We were charged an additional $78.28 to have the boot removed, and the hotel staff offered no assistance or clear parking guidance. Overall, this was one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve ever had. I would not recommend it to anyone until the renovations are finished and the management improves guest service.

The room itself was renovated and very clean but the common area was a disaster, the flooring on 3rd floor had some soft spots that didn’t feel safe walking on and it was stinky. I believe the building has a serious ventilation issue that must be taken care of. The other thing is that the bathrooms didn’t have fans! All said, the staff were very polite and helpful.

The property it’s under renovations and that’s not comfortable. Our room was smelly smell that came from a restaurant that it’s the second floor no vent in the washroom no vent or air from anywhere. It was too stuffy.

Nice location, looks like they are doing a little construction in the lobby but no issues. The room was clean, everything worked as it should and front desk was helpful. The only “complaint” would be the hardness of the mattress. It was very hard for our taste but I realize that is a subjective opinion. Would not keep us from staying again.

The property is still being renovated. The rooms are neat and clean. Right on the beach. No food amenities on property as of yet. The rooms have microwave and fridge, but no coffee maker. Lobby staff nice. I think when it is finished it will be okay.

Glad to see they are trying to rehab an old, original beach property. Not sure how long the remodel will take, but I'm hoping it looks good when they're done. The room we were in, 227 was clean and I think had been remodelled. Very tiny though. We only stayed one night, so it worked out great. The area around the hotel is a little run down, but I think it's safe. If you can support this hotel and keep it from being turned into another mega hotel/condo, then try them out.
