**A lot of our guests ask about the electricity policy. Our policy is that we allow $50 credit for every 7 days. Everything over that we charge what the electric company charges. The owner checks the meter through the website. There usually is not a problem unless a guest cranks up the AC, Pool Heater, leaves doors open, lights on, etc. We hope our guests understand, we do not do this charge to make money, it's to prevent the misuse of the electric. WE hope all of our guests enjoy their stay at Casa Mojo!

Very Relaxing
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mojo. The house was clean and we found the accommodations comfortable & relaxing. We tend to eat out while on vacation. Fortunately, there are numerous good restaurants within a short drive. Our communications with Maureen and Charlene (property manager) were always very pleasant and answered very quickly.

This property is so beautifully and talk about Location, Location, you can pretty much get anywhere within 1/2hr drive from here…we loved the openness of the great room, the peacefulness of not having another home across from us, who knew being across from a Marsh could bring such serenity. The western sunsets was priceless and coffee/tea at the Lanai/Cabana is the perfect way to start any day. Fishing off the dock is unforgettable memories for our little one. We’ll definitely come back in the near future!!

We had such an incredible stay at Casa Mojo! It was a great location within a nice area with beautiful views on the canal. The covered porch area was perfect with an amazing pool/spa! This home was perfect for our family get together. The house was beautiful, spacious, nice kitchen, comfortable beds, the pool and pool area was very nice. Charline was always available and very helpful. Check-in is simple, check-out just as easy. The sunsets were beautiful each night. Lots of fish right at the dock. Nice paddle kayaking down the channel. It couldn't have been nicer. Would love to return again. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

This property is very private and scenic. There are no properties across the canal, only mangroves with lots of bird life and serenity. It has recovered well from Ian and the interior is roomy and well appointed. Owner is very responsive and just nice to deal with. Outside deck needs some work but owner is aware and trying to get contractors which can be difficult in Cape Coral,

Had an AmaZInG time at Casa Mojo. The house is just as it is listed. However, the backyard, patio, dock area are 10x more beautiful then the pictures showed. All rooms are comfortable. Home has everything you need. The property manager was helpful as well. Thanks for having us stay in your home.

9/11/22 - 9/17/22. I preface this by saying I rent a nice home on the intercoastal every year and have for a long time. This home is well equipped. The house was spotless upon arrival. Agent was always available although we had no issues. The privacy and water views are spectacular. Convenient location. I would definately recommend.

Fantastic rental!
Pretty much as described on VRBO. Aside from some normal and minor things, this was all my wife and I could ask for. If there were jets in the spa would have been perfect! Otherwise the spa makes a fun kiddie pool if you have small kids. Fishing was fairly good...caught some huge catfish using shrimp. Just cast out to middle of canal. Hooked up on something huge early one morning (6:00 am) free lining a pilchard against the wall. Drag was set but it still managed to run and spool me out a bit. Got under the neighboring dock and broke the line :-( My guess was a snook but could have been a red. Either way definitely had some size. Was able to tour Sanibel/Captiva beaches and some some fantastic sites and homes. Pinchers restaurant at the Westin Resort was really good and highlight of our final night there. It was just a 4-day getaway for my wife for our anniversary and her birthda. More importantly it was a "getaway from the kids/grandkids vacation LOL. However, we are already discussing coming back with them at this same location in the future for a family trip.

Wonderful!!! Girls trip celebrating my mom's 70th.
We loved, loved the home, patio, dock. Loved sitting on the watching turtles poke their heads up and the huge mullets constantly leaping out of the water. We really enjoyed how peaceful it was outside. We made plans to go out and dress up for a birthday dinner,but, nobody wanted to change out of their swimsuits and leave the patio/pool/home. We wanted to just stay home. So we just ordered steaks with door dash and warmed up the leftovers on the fabulous outdoor griddle the next day. We loved the griddle. We'll be back.

Just as pictured, spotlessly cleaned, very comfortable beds, plenty of space and privacy, very well stocked, fantastic patio and pool area with nice floats, tiki hut over water for morning coffee and sunsets, beautiful landscaping, fun kayaks. True Paradise
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this property. We stay in VRBO homes a couple times a year (not always leaving reviews) and this was such an amazing place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet, home was clean, the pictures are spot on....no surprises, you get what you see. We spent a lot of time at the home, more than we thought we would because it was so relaxing and perfect. The dock and chairs are perfect for watching all the action in the canal, which we absolutely loved! SO many different kinds of fish, mama & baby turtles and what I believe could have been a manatee. There is some boat traffic on the canal but not enough to be a bother and honestly everyone seemed very friendly. We had no problems finding places to eat and shop a short distance from the home. I recommend the farmers market on Tuesdays....good stuff going on there. We went to Bowman beach on Sanibel Island a couple of days, drove down to Fort Meyer's for dinner at Junkanoo on the beach....perfect and fun! The fridge/freezer went out after a storm blew through and Tina (property manager for our stay) was able to get us taken care of as soon as possible. We had to buy a large umbrella for our beach trips and didn't want to take it home so we left it for future renters to enjoy. We were disappointed that the fishing poles were (2 out of the 3) were broken and any type of tackle was a mess in the garage. We bought our own and left our extras there. Our favorite part had to be the pool and dock. SO relaxing and clean, the majority of our time was spend there in the peace & quiet. I highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay again. My only critique would be to have half window shutters in the large front windows. The home is so open and while I adore the natural light from all the windows we didn't like the lack of privacy (our opinion) from the large windows that have no covering at all and anyone from the street can look right into the kitchen, dining and living room area. The street isn't terribly close, however at night with lights on in the home you can really see what's going on inside without a problem. Was that a deal breaker? No, even with that I would stay again, all the other amenities easily make up for it.

The property is a spacious and airy villa with an outstanding private rear vista overlooking a wide canal and mangroves. The outdoor space including deck, lanai, pool and tiki hut is one of the most generous we have stayed in with fantastic views. The master suite is huge with a large walk-in double shower. The property manager contacted us prior to arrival to arrange check-in and when we stated we would be arriving late evening came to see us the following day. They were easily contactable, friendly and responsive to our queries replacing broken beach chairs and re-supplying gas for the grill that had been left empty. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need, although the cabinetry is starting to look tired in places. The coffee bar was well stocked, and pantry had a variety of condiments, and herbs for any home-cooking. The large deck does have several 'soft' spots in need of attention however it is so big there are plenty of places to sit / lay and enjoy the villa's best feature - its outlook and outdoor space. The kayaks allow you to explore the local area from a different perspective. It may be of interest to some (we wish we would have known prior to booking) that the hot tub / spa does not have blowers fitted although it can be heated seperately to the pool. The property manager whilst we were there advised us that the levels in the hot tub spa were mysteriously dropping when the pool pump was not active despite previous attempts to rectify however this was still being investigated. (It may be fixed by now) In summary the outdoor space and location make this a lovely villa which with some attention to detail could be even better. Having raised our disappointment regarding the hot tub with the owners a 5% refund has been conditionally offered pending this review............
