Do NOT go through Southern Vacation Rentals!
Inside the condo was nice, but the entire building was under construction and we didn't know until we got there. No balcony access, pool under construction, water in the hallways, windows boarded over and the elevator quit. The property manager refused to call us back or visit the property. Terrible customer service! I feel bad for the owners and any renters! Beware!

Unit Under Construction - Worse Booking Ever
Do not rent this unit, it is under major structural renovations. Once you rent from VRBO, you are coordinating with a local vacation rental company. The front exterior entrance is blocked with equipment and scaffolding. The contractor is using the parking stalls for laydown for construction materials. The term "Under Construction" is very misleading. I have booked with VRBO for years, however first time encountered this project and VRBO did nothing to remedy the problem

VERY DISAPPOINTED - Description Deceiving
Very disappointed. Paid premium price for the beach front location with a balcony overlooking the beach and a pool. BOTH WERE CLOSED. Although we really think it was not there when we booked, there is a single line at the bottom of the listing stating, "**Please Note: There is ongoing exterior construction at the Turtlewalk complex. The pool and balconies are currently closed. **" The pictures shown show a beautiful balcony and pool. So, pretty deceiving Beware that through conversations with residents, this will take quite sometime. The room was great. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Only suggestion for the owner, other than updating listing to make more clear the construction, would be maybe some beach stuff, boogieboard, beach towels etc. The things you can't bring on a plane. At this point, I will say again, my family and I were VERY DISAPPOINTED. We are attempting to reach out to someone to see about some form of refund since this was NOT what we pad for and will update if I'm able.

Great location with waterfront views from condo.
Master bedroom suite is beautiful with comfortable mattress. Other bedroom mattress were 5" thick and hard. Had to buy foam overlays to sleep. The extra shower drain was clogged which should have been noticed when tub cleaned. The dinning room table was so sticky my coffee cup stuck and our arms stuck even after scrubbing with dawn and brush to no avail. The light above dining table is dim and flickers, cannot see to play games at night.

Everything we needed
Although this was a little outside of our price range, we really liked this place. Everything properly supplied. All kitchen utensils, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. Great layout for the adults! 2 Kids rooms in the back and master on opposite end with ocean view and balcony access. Would consider coming back for an even legnthier stay if the price was right!
