Room was musty, dusty and worn. Overall the property was in poor shape. Breakfast was average at best. It’s surprising that it continues with the Marriott name. The property would fit my definition of being a clean.

My wife and i were woken up by a shriek from our daughter at about 12pm. To our horror we saw large North American cockroaches, not onw, not two, but more after we frantically killed the first two. I immediately went to front desk to demand another room. Nope. "Sorry sir, we're full. No rooms available." Room 104. I had to scramble to find another hotel. I expect a refund, and for Expedia to come through.

For starters, this is a small property. The parking spaces do fill up fast, however, the staff was accommodating. This bit is only to do with the room i was assigned. The room was musty possibly due to the air conditioner being neglected. IMO hotels really need to switch to tile. Those carpets looked like they haven't been replaced in years. Other than that the staff was perfect throughout the weekend, the pool was ice cold in October, landscaping was clean and neat, location is perfect for easy access to all directions.

Disappointing for a Marriott
Staff was very friendly and the breakfast selection was sufficient. The hotel had an unpleasant odor, we could hear every noise in the next room over, and the bed was uncomfortable. We did appreciate the spaciousness of the room.

The staff was very friendly and let us check in around 1:30 so we could attend a memorial service. However, the hall leading down our our room had what looked to be pillow stuffing all of the floor. When we finally got in to our room, (our first set of room keys did not work) there was cat food on the floor in the bathroom and cat prints on the dusty desk/cabinet in the main part of the room. The tub was filthy and the floor in the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. In addition, when we came back from the service, there was a strong smell of marijuana on on the first floor that resonated all the way up the elevator to the third floor. The elevators are not far from the front desk so there was no way the staff would not be able to smell that. Finally, when my husband was taking our luggage to the car around 5 am, he could not exit the building and the person at the desk had to push a button to let him out. That seemed VERY unsafe if there as a mass exodus. I've stayed at a lot of Marriot properties, and choose them, due to their cleanliness. I will not longer automatically assume this in the future.

Rooms Not up to par, very good staff!!
Staff was amazing, nice and welcoming. However, for the high rate charged for this room, comfort and condition of room was under par. The mattress caved in the center, very worn so my husband and I literally sunk to the middle of bed and it was very horrible nights of sleep. I am exhausted from sleeping there. The door would not close when you leave without rigging it every time. Bathroom supplies were not full on arrival. At breakfast the staff spoke out loud about how they were out of main food items by 8:15am. The cost per night does not match the rooms old mattresses, blankets, lacking breakfast and doors not functioning.

Things I liked. It was clean. Water was hot. Access to room from outside was easy. Things I didn’t like. Location of toilet paper relative to wear toilet. You literally have to twist your body to the left to reach the toilet paper. Bad design. TV doesn’t roster very well for you to see if youre in bed. You have to watch it from a bad angle. My bed had a squeak which was only annoying when getting in but didn’t hear it while turning over in bed
