One of five charming cabins set just 4 miles from the center of downtown Fredericksburg, you and a guest will love the ability to relax in the scenic Texas Hill Country and then take a short drive to town. Enjoy a king bed, walk-in shower, kitchenette with full sized refrigerator, and pleasant private deck featuring a hot tub and grill all to yourself. In addition, Live Oak Creek is just off of your doorstep, so a day could easily be spent fishing, paddle boating, or swimming. There is also a bar at the entrance to the property.

The home is pet friendly and does not have a limit on the number of dogs that you can bring. However, there is a pet fee of $38/dog/night (before tax). Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. If you bring more than one dog and do not let us know, you will be charged accordingly. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

Please keep in mind that, since there are four other cabins on the property, they may be occupied by other guests during your stay. Furthermore, there are RV hookups, so other guests might be utilizing those as well.

Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course. 1 hot tub is available. The cabin includes amenities such as a kitchen and a patio.

Hidden Gem!

This was a quick 2-day couples get-away during spring break and I just happened upon this cute cabin on VRBO last minute. But we ended up finding a hidden gem in the hill country! The cabin is adorable -- all pine and so well laid out. It had everything we needed and the hot tub was a great bonus! Checking in was super easy and the host even had music on for us on arrival! It was so quiet and peaceful there and you could see tons of stars! My husband did some catch/release fishing in the morning and it was very relaxing for him. All in all an excellent stay and we will be back again to visit our hidden gem!

The stay wasn’t bad but over priced for the conditions it was in.

The BBQ grill didn’t work. Some blinds were broken. There was no alarm clock. It just seemed for the price I paid, it would have been upkept better.

Weekend getaway

Great location and space. Perfect for my wife and I for a weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and cozy and the hot tub was a great way to relax each night. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again.

Great little getaway!

My wife and I were looking for a short quiet getaway and found this Cabin and loved it! It was super quiet and the view of the stars at night was incredible. Hot tub was nice, clean, and hot. The property has sheep and deer wondering around which was pretty cool!! I wish they had wifi, but we got by just fine!

Peaceful Getaway

Nice and clean property, close to town but quiet and peaceful with hummingbirds, deer, sheep and a beautiful area of trees! Weekends boast the Lone Star Bar and Grill yet no noise was heard from cabin. There we met lovely locals and learned a lot about the area.

Relaxing

The Cabin Was Nice It Felt Really Nice And Relaxing We Loved All The Animals Around The Sheeps And In Our Cabin The Back Yard We Could See The Deer It Was So Beautiful To See. They Supplied toilet paper shampoo conditioner paper towels trash bags towels which was awesome less things you gotta pack. kitchen wise it didn’t have very many utensils cooking on the electric grill was definitely different it’s not like cooking on a regular grill Make sure to take your own seasonings and a pan to use on the electric grill if you choose… that’s how we cooked out breakfast and not really and area to sit and eat it does have a island and two stools but the stools are super tall your knees are above the island especially for my husband who is over 6 feel tall. The bar and grill is a lot of fun we had burgers and they were delicious and the vibe is just all around fun go close to sunset and it is absolutely beautiful if you want to relax this is definitely the place super relaxing vibes

Nice stay - generally what you would expect in a Fredericksburg cabin/tiny home accommodation. The hot tub was a nice touch, but it was a little bit cheap (very weak jets). Clean overall, but we were a little bit grossed out when we noticed there was no mattress pad on the bed, just the fitted sheet directly on the mattress. Rocking chairs on the back porch would have elevated the experience rather than just the metal chairs. Loved watching the wildlife and there were more lightning bugs at dusk than I’ve ever seen. Beautiful!

The property was great! Our host was very helpful and our cabin was clean and well stocked! We loved the sheep and just the overall vicinity! We enjoyed our hot tub and listened to great music on Wednesday evening from the outdoor concert at the on-site Lone Star Cafe. 😀The only drawback was the road noise from Hwy 290. So cute!

Girls trip for the weekend for my sister in law’s birthday! So much fun. A cute, cozy place to stay with a nice “backyard” scenery and there’s a bar walking distance with live music and food! Really enjoyed it. Cons: There is no WiFi, the hot tub could be a little warmer and the bathroom wasn’t entirely closed off meaning, you can’t see what’s happening but you can hear what’s happening lol other than that, we had a great stay.

Good but could be better

Overall our stay was pleasant, the cabin was cute and clean with a comfortable bed. Just two things that could have been better - the water pressure in the shower and a lukewarm hot tub. Also if you are looking for a quiet night in, don’t expect it until 10 or so when the music stops playing at the bar on-site.
