You can't get much closer to the Gulf Coast than this absolutely adorable, dog-friendly house on Galveston Island - complete with a full kitchen, balcony, furnished patio with incredible view, and easy beach access right out your back door.

This multi-level, three-bedroom rental is just a couple blocks away from Termini-San Luis Pass Road, one mile up from Galveston Island State Park for hiking, birdwatching and swimming, and only 12 miles from the historic heart of Galveston for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Bright, inviting, and thoroughly updated, this beachfront home has hardwood floors, colorful furnishings and accents, and numerous windows offering breathtaking, panoramic views of the water.

Feel instantly at ease in the upstairs living room with plush leather furniture, multiple ceiling fans, a warming electric fireplace, access to a private balcony with a romantic porch swing, and, of course, spectacular views through a wall of large, Gulf Coast-facing windows.

On the lower level (down a spiral staircase), there's a seating area, a dining area for six, and an open, fully-equipped kitchen with a host of essential accessories. You'll have a variety of top-of-the-line, stainless steel appliances including a French door refrigerator with an ice maker, a range, microwave oven, coffee maker, and dishwasher. A gas grill is also available if you want to fire it up and have an old-fashioned family cookout.

Two bedrooms are located on the first level of this home, including the master bedroom with a queen-size bed and private access out to the patio. On this same floor, the first guest room has two twin-over-twin built-in bunk beds, perfect for younger visitors. The living room has a queen-size sofabed for additional accommodations as well.

Upstairs, the third bedroom has a sturdy full-over-twin bunk. With three bedrooms, a sofabed, and two full baths, this home sleeps up to 11 guests (six adults) quite comfortably. Up to two family dogs (25 lb weight limit) are also welcome to join you during your stay for an additional nightly fee.

This home comes with WiFi so everyone can get online with ease. With three cable TVs, a DVD player, and access to a media library, you can keep up with all your favorite shows or program your very own movie nights (don't forget the popcorn)! A private washer/dryer is also included to let you start each day with fresh, clean clothes.

Spend some time out on the furnished patio watching the pelicans soar past or grab the provided beach chairs from the garage and take a stroll over to the nearby beach for a day of sunbathing and swimming.

The location is the selling point for this property. Steps away from the beach, we were able to watch the family play in the water from our porch, or from inside the house in the AC. The house itself is fine, but could be a bit cleaner, and I killed a giant roach in the kitchen. But overall a good choice for families.

The place is cute and right next to the beach, we left our stuff on the sand and came back for meals and bathroom breaks. The deck is great for a morning coffee and lunches. If you plan to be outside taking in nice weather, its a very nice place. Many beds available, and a great view from the 2nd story common room and balcony. The bathrooms are a bit small to share with a whole family traveling, but doable. The couple roaches we saw were off-putting, but hopefully management takes care of that asap. Had to buy laundry soap. Unfortunately, the biggest con was that we found the beds to be quite creaky and uncomfortable. The kids slept fine, but us adults did not sleep so well. A little updating and maintenance, and this would be a very nice spot for a small family to stay.

Great getaway!!!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay with our fur babies. Sitting on the porch swing on the 3rd floor and just relaxing and watching the ocean. 20 second walk from the beach and the large patio is great to just hangout on. We will be back!

Lovely beach house for us as a couple. The kids rooms will be a bit tight, but the excitement of the kids getting to play on the beach will tire them out. The house is right on the beach which is very convenient, sunsets and sunrises are spectacular. As a retired Merchant Mariner the upstairs living room made me feel like I was on the wheelhouse of a ship. Bring binoculars and beach chairs. About the title of the review, I think we counted 83 different camels in the house, but we may have missed some. Game on!

peaceful weekend getaway.
The only negative thing I have to report is the inadequate description of how to access the property. I have stayed at similar properties on dozens of occasions and had never had a problem until this one. (Getting in took over half an hour). Will be going back to this house in June but don't anticipate any problems then. Beyond that our stay was wonderful.

Overall our stay was very good. However the access codes/directions we were provided were wrong. 45 minutes later we were able to get into the property. There were no blankets only a very thin coverlet. We requested a late checkout and was denied because I called 5 mins past the policy cut off time. If y'all can workout these fairly minor kinks I will definitely provide a 5 star rating next time!

Check-in was an ease. Love not carrying around an extra set of keys! Home was cozy and comfortable but honestly we spent more time at the beach just over the dune! It was very private, with very few people and the perfect weather. Best time of year to visit Galveston!

Beachhside Dream
We couldn't beat the nearness of the beach to us, maybe 100 yards and the bed was very comfortable. Our dogs were so happy outside and we did some shell collecting also on restful walks along the shoreline. The internet and entertainment center were also outstanding.

Ocean Front Charm
Location is Key for a Beach Getaway and this house has it. The house is built for Ocean Views and is perfect for a Small Family with Pets. The layout of the House is designed so that everyone can have their own little personal space while still allowing everyone to gather in the kitchen or on the deck to enjoy the ocean views. The family spent hours on the decks and in the upper viewing area enjoying the ocean breeze and talking with each other. Great Place to recharge and to see Galveston.

Galveston Beach front Home
The location of this property was perfect. We spent most of our time on the upstairs porch enjoying the view of the beach and watching the waves roll in. There is only 1 bedroom with a bed suitable for a couple. All of the other beds in the house are bunk beds. The home was tidy when we arrived but needed a thorough cleaning. There was sand underneath the rug at the kitchen table indicating that had not been swept. The kitchen cabinets and refrigerator needed to be emptied and cleaned. Given the cost of the cleaning fee we expected it to be practically perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped including a crock pot. The upstairs air conditioner was not functioning properly during our stay but the management company was very responsive in getting a repairman out to the home. Unfortunately it was not an easy fix so only at day 3 was it repaired. All and all it is a nice home but it is too cramped for more than 1 couple in my opinion. Our stay included only 2 adults and we were comfortable. The location couldn't be beat for what we were wanting to do.

Kitchen recently renovated. Narrow spiral staircase to living area on upper floor presents a challenge. Property is completely fenced, allowing pets to roam off-leash. Excellent beach access. Outdoor decks are well shaded and equipped for comfortable seating and dining. Electric switches had labels that described their functions. Instructions posted on the wall left of the refrigerator explained many of the details about about available services.
