When we arrived on Thursday, they did not tell us that there were bears that have been seen every day on the property. All the amenities they show they do have outside, but you can’t enjoy them for the fact of there’s a 900 pound bear that goes up each level Especially where the condo side is and my grandchildren happen to be on the first floor and as soon as they walked out, there was a 900 pound bear. You couldn’t enjoy the hot tub because of the bears were in it and any of the other outdoor amenities. I also had problems with my St2dio The first one had mold and the second one the door didn’t close so I finally called the GM and he said he would do what he could. Around 2 o’clock I received a phone call that a young lady named Casey who is amazing at the front desk will help you anyway that she can possibly without getting into trouble. The resort has recently been bought by capital so they are slowly making changes. I mean slowly. Our last room with a one bedroom it was very nice but mind you we were only there for four days. Couldn’t do anything outside. Enjoy anything. Had to get in our car to even go down town when we could’ve walked. There was a couple that was walking down the street from the resort and the bear came out out of the parking garage and started running after them. I asked the nighttime security guard who is awesome. His name is Jack. He told us about the bear and how to make sure we stayed away. Also, smoky Mountains is closed for a rock slide.
