A fantastic place to chill out and relax. Spotlessly clean. Our room had an amazing view of the harbour too. Breakfast well worth the money, especially if you book it when checking-in, as it's a little cheaper.

Sadly the Sunborn Gibraltar has gone downhill. This was our 4th stay and it is now looking very tired and in need of a refurb. I asked for our aircon in the room to be looked at twice but it still wasn’t working properly. The reception staff were good but the breakfast room staff were extremely slow. Think this is our last visit now, we expect a little better for a 5* hotel when you’re paying top money.

Fabulous room overlooking the sea on the yacht. Room spacious and all amenities needed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Location great near bars and restaurants in Ocean Village. Little pool on board and bar.

Location was great. Rooms were lovely and clean. Didn’t like the aqua bar much, staff seemed rude compared to everywhere else in the hotel, shower leaked all over the decking and wasn’t moped up all day, also charged a service charge for going to the bar myself for drinks which if they were bringing to you I would be happy to pay.

The hotel was nice enough. However, there were a few drawbacks. The availability of transportation from the hotel was non-existent. Maybe an indictment of the taxi situation in Gibraltar... The room a/c wouldn't get the room under 25C and it was very humid. The noise from the bar across the street didn't stop until 11pm.

Romantic overnight stay
Absolutely amazing stay on this luxury yacht hotel. Sparkling clean, My wife and I loved the pool area even tho small it was great in the intense heat. Breakfast was good choice as it was a buffet and all great tasting. We definitely recommend a stay even for 1 night.

If you like night life this is your hotel
I am kind of surprised no one mentioned the wifi as we pretty much couldn’t load anything with it during our stay. I was impatient enough that I used my data instead. The speed was soooo slow, definitely didn’t expect it from a 5 star hotel. Also, since we stayed on a Friday night, they had live music show blasted all the way from 7pm to midnight. It was very loud. I understand maybe some people like it though I’m too old for that. If you prefer a good night sleep I think you are better off elsewhere. However, service was excellent and employees were polite. Their breakfast was one of the best I have had. Very good taste and selection. Room was also very spacious and we got a free upgrade.

This was a lovely place to stay. Near to bars and restaurants and an easy walk to the main street for shopping. Staff were friendly and always greeted you with a smile and a 'hello' . Every area was clean and always had a lovely smell when you entered each part of the hotel. A unique concept that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely return. If I had one negative it was the pool area was very small and not nearly enough sunbeds but there are deck chairs at the front where you can sit too but to be fair it is a yacht hotel and the pool area is at the back where it does tend to be smaller.
