We were only at the hotel for one night, would have liked to have stayed longer. The room was very clean with a great view. The price was great and staff very helpful. The only negative was no readily available ice! Staff were nice and got us some free of charge when we went to desk and picked it up—otherwise there would have been a $4 charge for them to deliver to the room!

This hotel needs an upgrade in terms of aesthetics, cleanliness and overall appearance. Carpets in the hallway of our floor not vaccumed for what seemed days. Scuff marks on wall of our room. Mold on tiles and bathroom taps, faucet, celing. Paint job needed. The buffet breakfast was great though, no complaints there.

First time staying at the Voco, check-in was easy, staff were friendly. We stayed on the 19th floor with an ocean view. Bed was comfortable, with plenty of room for luggage, bathroom was clean and everything worked well and the dual shower head was a plus, with great pressure and plenty of hot water. We used room Service and the meals were tasty we ordered again the following night, very quick and food was great. Would have liked to have some fresh air but the rooms don’t have opening windows or balcony’s. Parking was easy and secure. Pay at the property but worth it for convenience and safety. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable only issue was the 1st coffee machine was broken the whole time we were there. The 2nd machine was also having issue but we made do. The pool was refreshing and plenty of lounge chairs and sun to relax in. Overall a great stay.

Housekeeping was not very good. More than once during our stay did we have to call up & ask for our room to be made up. The second pool was unavailable to use due to maintenance. Our room which had two double beds (for 4 people) only provided us with one chair in the room.

The shower water temperature is so hard to adjust. Also, I have checked out for more than 24 hours and I still haven’t received the deposit yet. I called the hotel, they told me that it will take a couple of days. So Voco is holding my money for more days and do the same for everyone, then you can hold so much money to get the interests.

Reception staff state the car park is full only to overhear car park offered to other guests after we've already checked in. Head reception staff member condescending to people of non- English speaking backgrounds. Room card continually times out and doesn't work for your room, so repeatedly had to go back to reception to reactivate the card. Two towels in room for four people and very limited tea/coffee/glasses etc in room- reception staff would not bring up extra towels for your room on request. Told at the restaurant we hadn't paid for breakfast when we did. No apologies from staff for multiple errors. At the end of the day, you get what you paid for- shame as it was previously a nice hotel to stay at.
