Escape to Beach Bum, a recently renovated beach retreat with a beachy aesthetic and a refreshing pool. The perfectly located duplex offers a semi-private pool, ample parking for cars, RVs, and boats, and a large fenced-in yard for your furry friends.

After the renovations following Hurricane Sally, Beach Bum now boasts a beautiful exterior with new siding, paint, and shutters. Step inside to find a crisp, clean interior with charming beach-themed decor. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, including a full-sized washer and dryer, and a sunken stainless-steel sink. Catch a movie on the LED Smart TV with DVD player or relax on the deck overlooking the pool.

The master bedroom, located on the main level, features a king-size bed, updated furniture, and an en-suite bath. Upstairs, guests will find two more bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other with two twins, perfect for kids. The two bedrooms share a bathroom and also have LED TVs.

Take advantage of all that Gulf Shores has to offer, from lounging on the beach to fishing, biking, and more. Situated just 1.5 miles from the center of Gulf Shores, Beach Bum is also close to great dining, entertainment, and shopping attractions.

We welcome guests of all ages to enjoy our home, but we require that at least one adult be present and over 25 during the entire stay to avoid large parties. We also allow one dog per unit with pre-approval (45 pound maximum weight per pet) and a pet fee.

For added security, Beach Bum has a security camera for monitoring the parking and entrance stairs. And to ensure a clean pool, it is cleaned every Friday morning with a potential 3-hour wait before use.

Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the home or on the decks, and the unit has non-wheelchair accessible stairs. Book your stay at Beach Bum now and enjoy a perfect beach getaway!

Nice 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathrooms, second row back. Beautiful but cold pool! From our balcony, you could only see a sliver of the gulf. Kind of a disappointment. New homes built, progress must go on!

We had a great time in Gulf Shores and were very comfortable in our unit. You do however need to remember this is a shared unit. I would have loved to rent both sides with someone else from our family.

The home was very clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice addition. Only a short walk to the beach. Loved that the duplex had a door co necting as family rented the other side. Will definately rent again.

Great dog-friendly location.
We had to evacuate after Hurricane Ida at the last minute and with dogs in tow. Paula was super responsive and flexible in helping us get this together. House is great for a small family and had everything we needed! It’s of pool/beach toys as well, which was perfect for my pool teenager.

Great place!
The place is great. The only thing that was upsetting was the unit wasn’t cleaned before arriving. We arrived 20 minutes before arrival time at 4:00. Had to call for someone to come clean it and we had to wait an hour and a half for it to be cleaned. The day of checkout, the cleaning crew was there at 10:00 on the dot. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.
