*Room was very clean and perfect size for a couple on vacation.
*There was nothing major that was wrong, but a lot of minor inconveniences we dealt with ended up being annoying when we were trying to enjoy our vacation.
*Check in wasn’t great. I received the initial emails sent by the property management company, but not the latter emails supposedly sent to me that contained how to check in. None of those emails were in my spam folder either so I’m not sure what was up there, but we had to rush back to the company’s office to get our key to get in before they closed. This wouldn’t have been an issue if the property wasn’t 20 minutes off the beaten path.
*If you are the type of people who are out and about on your vacation, then I would consider elsewhere. We spend very little time in the room and it’s a 20 minute drive on a one lane road just to get back into town. Then however much time it takes to get where you’re going. It took us at least 30 minutes to get anywhere or do anything every time we left the property. There were gas stations and little restaurants close, but they weren't open until the evening time. There was a restaurant at the property, the Sassy Bass, that had wonderful food, but inconsistently open.
*The door knob was not secure and was very loose. We called maintenance so they were aware. Somebody did come fix it, but then the bottom lock on the door knob didn’t lock into place, so you could still open the door even though it was locked.
*The shower didn’t drain which was pretty gross after spending the morning at the beach. We had to wait a while for it to drain and rinse the tub out before my husband could shower.
*The keys to the property are actual keys which didn’t bother us, but the amenities (workout room, pool, laundry, sauna, etc.) needed a key card to access which wasn’t provided to us. My husband called the first day we were there to inform them of us needing a key card and they said they weren’t aware of that and didn’t have one, but would try to get one. We called the property management company 3 more times but never got a key card, so we had to ask other people to give us access to the amenities which was aggravating.
*As I said the room was very clean, but the side of the fridge was nasty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. They did have a broom to sweep, but no dust pan, so I just kept sweeping the dirt into a pile in the corner.
