The hotel itself was fabulous. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything looked to be new or newly renovated. The only issue is it shares a parking lot with a gas station and convenience store and parking that is for the hotel itself is extremely limited. It you are not there early (before 7pm) to snag a spot, you need to park near/at the convenience store which doesn’t feel the safest to leave your vehicle overnight.

The outside area was disgusting. Garbage and dog poop everywhere. Also, breakfast did not start until 7. Most travelers want to be on thevroad by then. Very noisy.

We travel to Florida for the holidays from NC and try to break up the trip so that the kids and parents get breaks :). This hotel was a great one night stay on the way with a free breakfast, clean spacious room, and inside heated pool! Really great stay!

After we got checked in and moved all our bags to our room, we walked into our the bathroom and a large roach was walking around the shower. We went to front desk about it and they didn’t have any method to treat our room. They did offer to move us to another room but we declined. The tiles around the front door of our room and near the bathroom were loose and creaked badly when walking on them. Felt like they might pop up and nail my shin. 😟 The parking area was taken over by mostly work trucks, with multiple people outside smoking cigarettes. By the front door 3 guys were sitting on a bench and appeared to be drinking from small liquor bottles and were loud and carrying on. This was not exactly the experience I wanted for my 11-year old daughter traveling with us. Will definitely not plan to stay here again.
