43 Off Shore is a newly updated and refurnished home as of January 2021 with additional updates in 2024 and 2025 that will not disappoint! This five bedroom, four and half bathroom retreat is located in the prestigious gated community of the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort property and can sleep and accommodate up to 16 guests. It is just a 4 minute bike ride or short 15 minute walk to the beach! Through the convenience of the complementary Dunes Buggy transportation seasonally, you are a few minutes to the beach, three golf courses, restaurants, shops, tennis or pickleball courts within Palmetto Dunes as well as all Shelter Cove properties! The stunning private pool deck is your perfect sanctuary with a large pool, hot tub (with FREE spa heat), loungers and Polywood furniture, table for dining, new propnae gas grill and private dock on a freshwater lake for fishing or catching views of beautiful wildlife!

1st Floor: As you step into this luxurious home after a contact-free check-in, you will be blown away by beautiful vaulted ceilings, new flooring throughout the entire home, beachy furnishings, décor, shiplap walls, and a sense of full relaxation. Just off the entryway two steps down is a family room with a Roku TV, comfortable seating, and custom built-in cabinets full of books and games for all ages! Also off the entry is a den with a sleeper sofa, Roku TV, and desk for those working remotely. The dining room can comfortably sit eight at the table and three at the elevated pub-style table against the wall. There is also seating at the peninsula in the kitchen and a table directly outside of the dining room on the pool deck for an al fresco experience! The beautiful kitchen has all the features you could want - a large refrigerator, double oven, stainless steel appliances, cooktop stove, and numerous small appliances if you choose to do some in-home cooking. The sitting room just off the kitchen is encased in windows for a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or cocktail as you take in the views. There is a powder room and laundry room on the first floor. The first-floor master suite has direct access to the pool deck. There is a king bed, sitting area, Roku TV, walk-in closet, and en suite master bath with a large walk-in shower.

2nd Floor: There are four bedrooms upstairs. The first has a king bed, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, Roku TV, and views of the moss-covered trees in the front yard. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a Roku TV. The third has a bunk bed that is comprised of a twin over a double bed with a pull-out trundle, en suite bathroom with shower/tub combo, Roku TV and the perfect view of the pool, hot tub and lake. Bedroom four has two double beds, an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, walk-in closet, a Roku TV, and a view of the lake.

Great Pool, spa & beach
We enjoyed our stay. Just a short bike/walk to beach. The extra beach/pool supplies in the garage were a plus. Also, lots of extra beach towels that were handy to grab & use. Checking out the turtles & heron in the backyard lagoon area was great for kids & just to watch nature. Katelyn was receptive & responded quickly to our needs. Overall, a great house with a lot of room to spread out if you have several families joining you.

Great extended family getaway
Our family traveled across several states to collide and spend a week in Hilton Head. Loved the location and scenery and we had ample space to spread out. Particularly loved the backyard doc. We did experience a maintenance issue upon check-in that was not resolved during the stay, but manager was communicative and offered a concession upgrade with pool heating. Overall, positive stay. Bunk beds are really kid/small adult-sized, so plan for that!

Another Wonderful Vacation in Hilton Head

The pool was well kept and a wonderful size! The jacuzzi was on a newly built platform, relaxing and very clean. The provided beach towels and other beach items, such as buckets, and an umbrella and wagon were extremely helpful, as we traveled by plane with packed suitcases. We must have overlooked it, and didn’t realize the bedroom with twin beds upstairs does not have a connecting bathroom, so be sure to decide who should sleep in that room before arrival. The owner joyfully responded with any questions we had along the way! We loved that! There are many homes to choose from in Hilton Head, and this home is an easy, clean, enjoyable choice!

Great family vacation home!
The house and location are exactly as advertised, and the owner is very attentive, friendly and quick to respond to any questions or issues that arise. We loved the fact that there is plenty of space to allow for both large group and smaller group/individual activities. There are three separate "family rooms", two of them with TVs. The backyard/pool area is very private. The pool area gets a half day of sun before becoming shaded in the late afternoon, which is perfect in our opinion. We loved our stay here and would definitely rent this property again!

Amazing Week
Our family had a phenomenal time at this rental home. The pool and spa were perfect and we spent many afternoons lounging there. The beach was about a 20 min walk away, but easy to drive and drop off the older family members at the beach access. The living room was a great place to get the family together and hang out. The owner, Katelyn, was very responsive from the time we booked the trip and even reached out during our trip to ensure that everything was going ok. Overall, we had a great time at 43 Offshore!

Such a pretty house! Perfect size for our extended family of 9. More than enough room for us to spread out and also be together in the family room. The kitchen size worked well with a few of us prepping food at the same time. Loved the fishing dock - very pretty setting. Easy bike ride to the beach. Only suggestion would be to add a hand rail in the pool for older family members but that’s a super easy addition. Thank you!

First time in Hilton Head -
This was our first visit to Hilton Head and we can't wait to return. The house was as advertised, pictures very accurate. We were a group of 11 - two families with teens and pre-teens - plenty of space and good WiFi connection as we usually had 6-7 people working/doing school online at any time. The neighborhood is lovely, very pedestrian and bike friendly. Katelyn, the owner was very easy to work with; she returned emails and text very promptly and was extremely responsive to a couple of minor issues we had. Big plus - the beds were SUPER comfortable. Seriously, makes me want to upgrade my own mattress at home!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house was well-kept and as advertised in the listing. We had two very small issues come up during the week which were handled extremely well and promptly by the owner. The kitchen knives could stand to be sharpened, but that is really the only complaint I have from our week. We don’t repeat destinations on vacations very often, however if we come back to Hilton Head we will definitely see if this property is available. Overall a great experience!

This house was perfect for our two families of four. The house was very clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was stocked well with lots of extras such as Tv’s with streaming service included in every room. We loved the pool & hot tub and the dock was great for a little fishing. The owners, Katelyn and Brian, went out of their way to make us feel at home. We can’t wait to go back when the weather is a little warmer.
