I messaged the hotel that I could not enter Vietnam as i did not have a visa that i did not know i needed. I was NOT a no show. I asked Expedia to issue a refund-they could have charged me one night and that would have been fair. Expedia made several attempts to ask for a refund but the hotel refused. I would NEVER book at an Ibis or any Accor hotel again.

Very convenient to the airport and we were only there for 2 days. Nice rooftop pool/bar area. The breakfast buffet has lots of options. The property has been well used and needs a good deep clean overall. Our room unfortunately had a HORRIBLY strong mold/mildew smell as soon as the AC turned on. The bathroom had no hand towels, just 2 washcloths that were sour smelling and 2 bath towels. The kitchenette had no utensils, dishes, even towels or soap to wash a couple items. No hangers in the closet to hang anything. It was pretty disappointing compared to the many other places we stayed in Vietnam for much less money and wayyyyy cleaner and nicer! But I guess that’s what you get when you pay for convenience. 😩

Nice room. Request for extra pillows attended to quickly. On arrival was asked about timing for return transfer to airport the next day - having just got off a 9 hour flight was not ready and just needed to stop for a second. They were very patient and we called to confirm time from the room once settled. Breakfast was plentiful and with a lot of choice - for us the highlight was being able to have a small pho for breakfast that we were looking forward to having. We got to spend the morning at their roof pool over looking the airport operations which was both relaxing and fun. When we asked about where we can get to an ATM they were able to send us to one not far away with clear directions. Overall very friendly and a great stop over when we needed it before we transferred to our onwards flight the next day. Only downside was the lack of any facilities past 9.30pm - had to go next door for some supper and by the time we got back even the bar had shut leaving room service the only option

The shuttle was not there to pick us up when we landed. Check-in was very good, the desk clerk was efficient. The bid was very comfortable. Breakfast for Americans was quite limited, but it was excellent if you were Vietnamese. The hall carpets needed to be vacuumed and our room had a strange smell, perhaps smoke, but there was a sign saying no smoking allowed. The shuttle to the airport the following morning was right on schedule and very comfortable.
