The staff were fantastic - called me with my early check in, took my stored bags to my room, and offered several local discounts. Pool area had construction going on, kind of loud and dusty; was not offered an upgrade per my Expedia Gold status; and I don't understand what the daily "transient tax" was, especially since I already paid a resort fee.

The Shoreline is situated very central to restaurants, beach and transport. However it wasn't until my arrival was i made aware of construction on the front of the building and then found out when i got to my room (no time before) that the linai was NOT available. This news completely changed my stay and i can sincerely say that if I knew this fact beforehand I would have cancelled and found alternative accommodation

We were disappointed with this hotel. It is an old hotel with pops of colors. The lobby is beautiful and the staff is very nice. The bathroom is small, and the carpet feels quite dirty. It definitely doesn't look like it's pictures online. There's construction of the hotel going on when we stayed. Now the pros: my kids love the bubbly water, we like the coffee being available in the morning. Staff is super nice and friendly. Beautiful lobby and hallways. Relatively quiet and there is a parking lot (24hr for $27) right next to the hotel.
