Very clean room. Staff was not at front desk when we arrived and someone, not sure if it was an employee off the clock or just a families face, hollered several times for someone to come to the front. Anyway not very professional. Trying to get checked into our room the man ( manager)was nice yet sidetracked by another employee who interrupted mine and my husband and managers conversation about room#, parking, elevators, etc. Just not professional at all. Signs were placed around the lobby and near elevator that breakfasylt would not be served at this time, we were staying over the weekend, and also the pool was closed. We had our 12 y/o son with us because we were in town for a baseball tournament so would have been nice to cool off in the pool and also not have to go buy breakfast somewhere. Our room was well stocked with towels and toiletries, and cleaned the next day as well. A/c worked well. Only thing I would have like to have seen in the bathroom is a hairdryer.

Upon my arrival, no one was at the front desk, and I had to wait for approximately 10 minutes before someone finally checked me in. I also noticed a sign stating there would be no breakfast, even though the app I booked through indicated that breakfast would be available the next day. The condition of the lobby was extremely disappointing, as it was filthy and in need of cleaning. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. When I got to my room, I found there were no towels available. I returned to the lobby to request towels, and the staff member retrieved only one towel for me, which was stained. When I asked for additional towels, I was told that was the last one available. I understand that unexpected situations can arise, but this level of service and cleanliness is unacceptable. I hope you will take immediate action to address these concerns for future guests.

We didn’t even stay it was so disgusting. Called all day trying to confirm electricity due to the hurricane without answer. Pulled up to many abandoned Walmart carts all around. A hair piece laying in the drive, opened bag of charcoal under front bench with an opened box of zig zags sitting on the bench. Baby pacifier laying in middle of lobby with a kid running around & a man laid out on the couch. The lobby was so dirty- stained rugs and furniture- I was scared to even see a room. Trash in the hallways and people BBQing outside the back door. Seemed like a party place where people lived rather than a hotel. Smelled like weed. How this place has 8.2 rating makes me never want to use Expedia again.

If you have kids Dont stay here- the back door was broken so anyone could come in without a key. The door was literally hanging on the hinge and was open- no one tried to secure it and people were coming in and out of it. No security. Smelled like smoke, had containers of urine outside of hotel, the fitness room was a mess when we went the door was propped open with a 30 pound weight and 2 small toddlers were playing around without an adult and trash everywhere. People walking barefoot at breakfast food line area. People smoking cigarettes sitting in chairs where the sliding doors in the front open- including staff. We ordered Uber eats and uber driver was scared to get out of the car.

A mistake booking this hotel
Not sure why this hotel receives the high rating when I decided to book. Perhaps I was given a wrong room. The only positive was the strong water pressure from the shower. Everything else was terrible. I noticed right away I made a mistake booking this hotel. One of the elevators wasn’t working so they put a trash can in front of it. The room’s TV wasn’t working. The water faucet was dripping at fully open. The towels were old. I even smelled marijuana walking to my room on the top floor even though this is a non-smoking hotel.
