1. Being a Hilton member and using their app costs more per night than Expedia.
2. The booking confirmation email told me to call the hotel for a courtesy shuttle. So I called the number and the agent told me that Houston shuttle comes by every 20 min and to wait outside.
After sitting outside freezing for 45 min, I called back and they said be patient. I called back again after one hour and the other agent said I actually needed to call the Front Desk of the hotel I was staying at!! - they couldn't transfer me and said they texted the number, which never arrived.
I had to call back once again to get the actual number. It turns out that Hilton offshores their customer service to god knows what country and so the first few calls were not even in Houston.
You would think that Hilton would at least tell Expedia the direct phone number and instructions rather than employ customer service people in a foreign country who proceed to give out the wrong information.
