Come and experience the tranquility of "Peaceful Pines." Nestled in a serene pine forest, this peaceful retreat is located less than a mile from the center of Idyllwild, on a spacious half-acre lot. The cozy home features 3 bedrooms, accommodating up to 6 guests. The master suite includes a luxurious king-size bed, and there are two comfortable queen-sized beds in the other rooms. Inside, you can gather in the inviting dining area or step outside to enjoy the BBQ and patio, while your pets roam freely in the expansive fenced yard. Relax in the hot tub or unwind by the inviting fire pit, sharing stories of your daily adventures. Peaceful Pines is an ideal haven for families or groups of friends seeking sanctuary from city life and embracing the peace and seclusion of the mountains.

This vacation rental is equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.

Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended).

- Outdoor lighting: Please note that outdoor lighting must comply with Riverside County regulations and must not blink, flash, or rotate. Guests will be held liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.

- County permit number: 001590

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

It was truly wonderful

It's better than the pics. Never seen such a well equipped kitchen too! The property itself is massive and magical. Not one thing I could complain about. You get what you pay for. I used to own a home in Idyllwild and know it well. This is a fantastic place and I only wish it was mine. You can't go wrong.

Wonderful!

Sweet home, clean, comfy, amazing kitchen, we enjoyed our stay! One thing which worked out well. King bed in master was terrible, sagging, impossible to sleep. We were furious, another reviewer pointed this out, assumed it was taken care of. But it was not. Calked management company, they were amazing! Next morning installed a new mattress.

A wonderful home and a beautiful backyard

This property was fabulous. Inside the home was comfortable and had everything you would need for a great stay. The backyard was amazing. We spent a lot of time outside with the kids. The backyard was perfect for our Easter egg hunt, feeding the birds and squirrels, and relaxing on the swing. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

Magical cabin with charming yard

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home! As soon as we walked in, we noticed the cathedral ceiling, beautiful decor and woodsy (in a good way) smell. The property is gorgeous and has everything we needed for cooking, baking and grilling out. The hot tub was immaculately clean. Huge, beautiful back garden area. We would love to stay here again!

Great Place

From booking to check in to check out the process was seamless . The cabin was lovely and way bigger than I anticipated . If you get a chance to stay here it’s a must. The amenities are top notch. My only complaint being a city guy is the peace and quiet is deafining .

Peaceful Pines stay August 2021

We really enjoyed the property. it seemed very clean which is important to us. The fenced yard was great for dogs but if your dogs are small and furry like ours they pick up tremendous items from the yard. Had to groom them every time they went out. Our biggest disappointment was the beds!! Was surprising being that the property is on the higher end of a rental in the area. For us, sleeping on our holidays are number one! My partner had the worst neck pain after first night and our friend Alex had back issues after her sleep. The beds were so soft you could hardly roll over without sinking deeper into the bed. A decent mattress is so inexpensive. We will not return for this reason. Left a day early so we could sleep in our own beds. We rent all the time and this was the worst. Our RV mattress is better. J

Peaceful Pines Review

The place was absolutely amazing. Beautiful location. Spacious and cute house. It was very clean and had a full kitchen. A couple of improvements - The check-in process was easy to figure out, but we had to pick up the keys at a different location as opposed to being at a lock box on the property. The property had so much snow, which was beautiful, but the driveway was completely blocked. It was not cleared before we arrived. We had to shovel the driveway on our own for 2 hours to get our cars in there.

Nice for single family

This was a nice house with a well-stocked kitchen and basic bathroom supplies which was a nice added touch. Two things to be aware of - it's clear there are dogs that stay there and we left with many things having dog hair on them. Not a big deal if you are a dog person, but if not, or if allergic, be warned. Also, the place is smaller than expected, especially the upstairs loft. The pictures make it appear pretty generous in size, but it is a really small space and our 2 kids were pretty cramped staying up there. Also, there is no dining room so all eating needs to happen at the kitchen table in the colder months when the outdoor tables really won't work. Over all it's a nice cabin in a great location, but not really big enough for more than 1 family in the colder months.

Should be called blissful pines

The house was cozy, yet roomy, and quite clean. It had everything we needed for cooking and comfort, right down to mini "furs" to snuggle with. Loved the upstairs room; it became our fort. The backyard is magical. ..complete with little trails, hidden gnome and little bird houses. The spa was impressive and luxurious. And if you're a dog person WOW! Marty, our terrier chihuahua felt right at home. Looking forward to returning.

Great local getaway with cabin comforts

Cabin felt updated and the backyard is amazing. Your own little outdoor sanctuary. Close to town. No air conditioning, so it did get quite hot in the evenings during our stay.

Great vacation for the dog (and us).

Loved the enormous yard and all the places to sit and relax. We especially enjoyed sitting by the gas fire pit drinking wine while the dog ran around and explored. The kitchen was very well equipped and the whole house had cute whimsical decorations. The loft makes it a great house for family with children. There is a special area for the dog too with treats, toys, and a bed.

Excellent place to stay!

This house has everything you need. It's a short commute into town and has a spacious driveway for parking. There are neighbor but it doesn't feel like it with the size of the fenced yard and beautiful trees everywhere. The house itself has cute wood cabin accents every where. The living room on the first floor has a great couch with a fireplace. On the same food there's a quaint room with a cute rocking chair some books and a TV. The shared bathroom is on the same floor as well as the kitchen. The kitchen is super spacious with and indoor dining nook. It's fully stocked with everything you need for the most part. We were planning on making our own meals as we usually do so we did bring some of our own stuff, but would have been fine without. There's a gas oven which is great! Doors from the kitchen open up to the backyard. The yard is fully fence and our dog loved running around chasing the birds while we used for grill. There is a lovely sitting area with a firepit. The star of the show was the spa. It was wonderful relaxing and getting to see the night sky filled with stars. Up a few stairs from the kitchen is the master. It has a private door to the back yard. The king bed was not to hard and not too soft. They even had a dog bed. The master bath has a nice clawfoot tub and double sinks. There is also a washer/dryer in one of the master closets. The last room is up a few more stairs from the master. It's a loft style room, so no doors, but it's the only room on that level. The bed is a perfect little reading nook. There is also a couch and TV. If you had kids it would be a great area for them to stay! Overall it was a perfect choice for us. We were able to enjoy the stars at night and unwind from life's craziness in the woods with all the amenities. We will definitely be booking again!

Adorable, comfortable, fully equipped house -- thank you!

We just had a comfortable 3-night stay in this adorable, gorgeously furnished house – an awesome spot from which to explore the surrounding hiking scene. The hot tub worked great for sore muscles (though was really close to the neighbors' house which seemed odd since it was a large backyard). Overall the house was just full of anything you could possibly need -- from pantry staples to games to plenty of towels to cozy beds. We were impressed with all of that and it really felt like a "home" instead of a rental properly. One thing to be aware of is the layout -- it is a 3-level house. There is one (very nice!) queen bedroom with a full bath next to it on the lowest level, then the king-master on the mid-level with an en-suite bathroom, then an attic loft with a queen (which is a fun built in bed that kids will love). Whoever stays up there though has to either go into the master bedroom to access the closest bath or walk all the way down and around to the ground floor bath. Was not a big deal for us, but in case that helps anyone else! Really our only complaint about the house was that the fridge smelled like rotten fish the entire time, despite it appearing spotless on arrival and empty except for a baking soda box which didn't seem to help the odor. Also, was not thrilled that the office person where we picked up and dropped off the keys was not wearing a mask (though she was friendly). In case she is not aware, it is now mandated in California so please put one on in the future for our health and safety. (I put one on for her!) Regardless, I would not hesitate to recommend this property (highly) to others.
