Nice and quiet place on Holbox
Well kept, clean and nice hostel which is more like a simple hotel. Staff was really friendly. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay while in Holbox, I can only recommend the place. It’s just a few blocks away from the center of the island.

Great Room Wonderful Staff
Golden Paradise was a lovely, out of the way, hostel for our first trip to Holbox. We stayed on the island for about 13 nights and our room was our home for that time. The staff were wonderful, the room was comfortable, and the garden was lovely for relaxing. My only regret is that I wish we had booked our visit for the next year before we left. It appears with the growing visitor volume in Holbox that the property is already booked out for the dates we are hoping to visit.

Would definitely stay again
As far as hostels go, this place was great! I stayed here for a week. The communal kitchen was kept very clean as well as the room and grounds. My shower was cold, but I came to always expect that traveling in Mexico. Wifi worked well compared to other places I had stayed.

Quiet hotel close to downtown and beach
The hotel manager, Israel, was great to work with. His English is good for those who are working on their Spanish. This is a great deal, we had a private room with bathroom. It had ac, a fan, small refrigerator and was cleaned daily. There is a shared kitchen if you want to cook and hammocks outside. Conveniently located so you get the quiet away from town but a short walk to restaurants, markets, and the beach!

My sister and her husband travelled with me to Holbox Island for a quiet experince. Qe stayed four nights at Golden Paradise Hostal in an upstairs room. The room was pretty small for 3 adults but very cosy. it is a pretty close walk to the beach and centro.

Very reasonably priced for Holbox, which seems to be more expensive than elsewhere. Good value for money, we had a big room with air con etc..

Digno. Personal muy amable
El personal es muy amable y voluntarioso. Las instalaciones generales son feas, de apariencia descuidada. El wifi tiene inconvenientes y la luz suele cortarse pero es algo habitual en la isla y no un problema del hotel. Las habitaciones son limpias, dignas, con ropa de cama aceptable y relativamente cómodas. La ubicación es practica a mitad de camino entre el ferry y la playa. No es un establecimiento memorable ni tampoco un desastre. Solo un lugar de precio accesible que no es lindo ni pretende serlo.

El hostel se encuentra muy bien ubicado, a pocas cuadras del puerto. En la habitación hay un frigobar, algo muy positivo y poco habitual en este tipo de alojamiento. Hay baño privado a unos metros de la habitación. Tiene cocina de uso común con todo lo necesario para preparar una comida rápida. El alojamiento es ideal para descansar ya que no hay actividad nocturna como en otros hostel. Muy buena relacion precio/calidad
