Good location to visit the island
2 week stay with my adult daughter, the unit was well appointed with 2 double beds and a split bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with a basic pantry. We did appreciate the AC and the cable tv. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a bit lumpy. Some basic beach items would have been appreciated, we ended up buying a chair and snorkel (which we left behind) as well as a couple of insulated bags. We have stayed I’m in Poipu and Princeville before and found that Kapa’a’s central location made visiting the island easy.

We absolutely loved the location! It was close to everything we needed and we really enjoyed the bike path just down the road. Great supply of cooking items and towels. The only draw back we encountered was prior to booking I contacted property management to ask if this property had beach chairs. I was told they did. When we arrived, they ended up being camp chairs. It still gave us somewhere to sit, so it wasn’t a big problem, just not what we were hoping for. Overall great property with an easy check in/out process, and easy to work with!

Clean, cozy and convenient
I have stayed in Kauai a number of times and I like the convenience of Plantation Hale. The condo was fantastic and the layout was perfect for 1 or 2 people. The condo was clean and the furniture was relatively new. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom was away from any noise in the hall. Previous reviews talked about highway noise. There was some but it wasn’t so much that it distributed my sleep. The air conditioning units were quiet and worked well. I enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after big hikes on the island.

Great Spot!
This place was centrally located on the island which makes a huge… difference! It never took overly long to get to any location no matter what direction we wanted to travel. I also loved that it was a short walk away from the ocean and that it had a pool and hot tub that you could use. You can hear traffic a little bit from inside the apartment but it wasn’t a problem even for the country girl that I am.

Use of fabreez and air freshner products was over powering and caused my family to have headaches and allergic reactions. All four of us had to stay in the living room as the bed room was over powering with glade plugin wall fresher and fabreez sprayed everywhere on linens and furniture. The bedroom was unusable so we all four had to sleep on floor and couch of living room for a week!, this was not what I had planned my vacation to be like and was an extreme hardship and health issue. I will not be staying here again. Property was newly remodeled and updated. nice pullout couch. property manager did respond and provide clean sheets.

Great location
The suite was clean upon arrival and check-in was easy. Laundry at Plantation Hale was great to have, as was the pool and hot tub though they were busy with kids most of the time. We thought the location was great with lots of restaurants and the general store close by. The beach is a short walk away which makes sunrise viewing really convenient, we wouldn't swim at that particular beach though. Also close to the waterfront pathway, great for running/walking. Would stay here again for sure,

First time in Kauai
This place was just what we needed. We were able to cook our own meals, enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains, and enjoy a beach within walking distance. The weather did not cooperate so we didn’t see much sun but the location was great for driving to the northern, southern, and western shores. I wish we could have spent a little more pool time but it was chilly. The hot tub was great. There were a few things that I’m a stickler about cleaning but if a little dust doesn’t bother you it’s not a deal breaker. There is road noise because it overlooks the highway so be aware of that if you’re looking for quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Good value for the price.

Perfect location!
The condo was spacious with a full kitchen which was perfect for my husband and I. Beautiful view of the mountains from the patio. Location was perfect and made driving anywhere super easy and was within walking distance to a marketplace with shops and dining options. Pool and hot tub right downstairs and laundry in the building. Overall would absolutely stay again!

Very nice unit.
Very nice, clean unit. Grounds are fine, and pool is very close. I have seen other reviews complain about some things that are unfair to the unit owner. This is not a resort, you are not paying resort prices. Do not expect resort amenities. The only complaint about the unit is that it is located VERY close to the road. While sitting on the lanai, you WILL get road noise at all hours of the day. However, the unit is a very good value and I would recommend.

Lovely stay in Kapa'a
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The suite was clean and nicely updated, and the fans and air conditioning were great. We used the BBQ a few times, which is super close to the unit. We also used the pool and hot tub a couple times. Kapa'a is a good central place to stay if you want to explore the island because you can drive south or north without having drive for too long. The beaches that are in walking distance from this condo are nice, but were very windy every day and often rainy. We ended up driving south to Poipu to go to the beach every day (about 40 minutes). This condo is also located at the back of the building, right along the highway. This made for a very noisy lanai, particularly Monday to Friday during work hours. Checkout was at 10am and we were not allowed a late checkout, so this wasn't ideal for us, but we made it work. Otherwise we had a great trip to Kauia!

This condo was clean, updated and beautifully decorated. The property manager arranged for us to get in a bit early when we arrived. Anything needed was available at the Coconut Market beside us and the beach was only a short walk away. Coolers and beach chairs were even provided. When we had a small issue, the concerns were immediately addresses. The traffic from the main highway was the only drawback. Highly recommend this place. An aside - make sure to have dinner at the Lemmongrass Seafood Grill just a mile down the road - best meal ever!!!

First of all, the 4/5 star rating misguided me. My stay was thoroughly disappointing. We stayed at B-13 Plantation Hale. Pros: ease of checkin, friendly staff at concierge desk. Cons: the property at B-13 was not managed by the front desk as it is independently owned. The unit built in 1931 is in need of lot of updates. We noticed bugs that seemed like mosquitoes upon checkin and thought it was something to find in a humid weather. But the next day, the gnats or something like that were all over the kitchen, I. Bathroom and in bedroom. I requested pest control - and it was done. But there were dead gnats on towels - I requested new towels. My email was never answered, till another repeat request a few days later. Horrible stay. Don’t stay here. Stay at a hotel or other condominiums.

C’était très bruyant pour s’endormir on entend très fort les autos de la route et ve bruit nous réveillait le matin aussi . Les planchers sont recouverts de vieux tapis sales. Les lits sont trop petits, très petits pour deux personnes. La douche n’a pas de porte donc l’eau coule par terre . C’est bien situé , proche de plusieurs commerces et épiceries et central pour la visite de toute l’île .
