The Space:
Duval Corner enjoys a prime location at the corner of Duval Street and Amelia Street in the heart of downtown Key West. The inviting bedroom features vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan, a cozy queen-sized bed, a flat-screen cable TV, a closet, bedside lighting, and an en suite bathroom complete with fresh linens and toiletries. In the living room, you'll find vaulted ceilings, a large full-length mirror, a spacious flat-screen cable TV, bar seating, and a queen-sized pull-out sleeper sofa, perfect for extra guests. Property was quaint and we loved the porch. We stayed out there quite a bit. You cannot see much of Duval Street from the porch, and the music from Speakeasy/Rumrunners is not so loud that you can't hear good conversation. Outside Noise was NOT an issue. The Property was clean. I needed more towels and toilet paper & Brighwild employees were extremely prompt & attentive. If I had to say anything critical, the extra blanket smelled pretty bad. There were mildew stains in the bathroom, but NOT mildew. It just needed a good coat of primer or sealant, and it really was not nearly as bad as I have seen in some hotels. The decore was plain, which didn't bother us, but I would probably add more. I loved the large screen tv in the living room! The shower gel & shampoo supplied smelled really good. Also loved additional tv in the bedroom. Bed was super comfortable. Pull out couch was a bit noisy. This Property is great for someone who wants to enjoy Duval Street without having to worry about getting there quickly. It is literally steps away. If you can rent a bike or scooter there are good parking spots right at the bottom of the stairs. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. When you're tired from all the walking, and then have to climb 15 or so steps, it gets a bit rough, but worth the climb to sit out on the porch and enjoy the island breeze. It would be great for history lovers like myself to have more info about this specific property. The rich history of this island is a huge part of its appeal

Beware, filthy disgusting and falling apart, stay away!
Stay away. Room smelled like… well use your imagination after intercourse aroma… 🤮. Just let the video and pictures tell the rest. Closet off the hinges, floor was dirty and felt disgusting. There were stained coffee cups in the cupboard, mold in the bathroom.We only stood the night (thx God!) look at the shower floor towel I flipped it around after I got out of the shower: That was how dirty the floor was, 🤢. Dust everywhere. To quote Guardians in the Galaxy “ if we had a black light it would be like a Jason Polluck painting!” I will also share their response, such a fail”we will defiantly look into this”, lol, great grammar! What a fail they didn’t know I was a top Google reviewer, sad I have them an opportunity to make it right. Maybe a cleaning fee refund or something to make it right, Oh well.

The property was great! Olivia took care of everything and always checked to see if we needed anything. The only suggestion is the bed is new and great but the box spring was not replaced and makes lots of noise with little movement. So just turning over it is quite annoying. Other than that it’s very nice and clean

Great stay for 2 people!
Beautiful home, close to everything, not comfortable with 4 people, only a 2 person residence realistically. The front room has no A/C so you have to blast it all day to keep it comfortable to sleep in the pull-out bed at night.

Great location, decent size. Some free parking on the street if you're lucky and can find it. The place had one window a/c unit in the bedroom (which is in the back of the apartment), and it has one ceiling fan in the living area and one in the bedroom, the one in the bedroom didn't work so the cold air didn’t circulate out of the bedroom. The living room was pretty warm the whole time. I contacted the property manager and was told the maintenance guy said it might be the sensor on the remote controlled fan but that nobody would come to fix it because of the time of day (it was later in the afternoon) and asked if I had checked this and checked that. I paid too much money to troubleshoot issues with their equipment, and had already switched out batteries with the other remote, stood on the bed and flipped switches on the base of the fan, etc. No thanks. They want you to enter a certain code at the end of your stay so they can get the cleaning crew in there right away which leads me to believe it wasn't fixed for the next customer either. We checked out at 7am so whoever stayed 2/21 and beyond, I hope it worked for you. Other than that it's a great place but for the cost they should have someone willing to come to your unit at 5pm.

I went to a hotel
There is no parking. I have MS and hauling up things from across town was not possible. I was told in an email that was sent while I was in transit to the property it was on a third floor. Well I wasn't going to do that. I only had one verbal communication and one email that was anwswered while I was heading to Key West. I will never rent a proptery that has this agent listed and I will really consider using Vrbo again after this very costly adventure. Oh I never stayed on the property.
