Great Location!

Met all of our needs and close to Duval St.!We enjoyed our stay at this small one bedroom one bath cottage. Great location 100 feet from the upper end of Duval St. The cottage had nice lighting and crown molding and had all of the expected amenities. The staff was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Close to historic area so lots to see. Bed uncomfortable. Window air conditioner caused temperature to be erratic. Can’t sleep well with bed and constant rooster noise. When TV was working, had one channel, PBS.

Too noisy!

The property was only feet from Duval. Great for walking too noisy for sleeping! Motorcycles and loud trucks and the limitlessly amount of drivers seeking attention! The upstairs tenants were so loud withe their walking I would swear they were intentionally being loud.no complaints about the inside of the unit.doing utter

Very nice, needs a new bed

This listing was just as described. Yes it is small but I knew that when booking. The bed was so bad though. I think an air mattress would have been better. The size of the bed was not an issue but the quality of the mattress was really low. It is in a great location, and it was nice overall.

I loved the room. Small but all I needed. Property didn’t have a lot of public space but that was kinda mentioned in the add. Only problem was tv would only pick up one station. Talked to manager several times, they actually asked me to do the trouble shooting. Nothing worked. They said they would send someone my last day. He never showed up.

Adorable place in a convenient location

We loved the accommodations, simple and had everything we needed, except coffee creamer or sugar. The double bed was a little small for the both of us, but was comfortable and clean. There was a lot of noise from town and traffic, which was expected since we were basically on Duval St, but was hard to get a good night’s rest. The shower had plenty of hot water, but didn’t have much cold water, so we couldn’t soothe our sunburns very well. Overall would highly recommend this place if you want to be near the action and don’t mind walking everywhere, as there is no parking for a car or golf cart

I was not amused

I walked through the door. After a very contentous call with the office. I managed to get in. There was something in the unit i reacted too. I became very ill. I had to hire a car servive to take me home to islamorada after i was able came back got my car. I paid a lot of money for nothing. I think the mold in the shower was alarming. I do this trip each year. So back to using a hotel. After the origional contact with the office, i wasnt going there again. I was very sick.

I’ve used VRBO in the past but was underwhelmed by Vacasa. Bed not up to my standards. No basic amenities in the kitchen like salt/pepper or a coffee starter kit. Will consider this when renting in the future and avoid a Vacasa property.

I assume that the owner did not communicate to Vacsa management that construction would be going on on our unit. No way would I let that be rented during this time. Loud all day long, stuff falling off the shelves. Other than that the area, bars, restaurants and excursions were great and right in the middle of Duval.

Perfect place for 1-2 people

This was a perfect studio for me to stay at this week. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding at the Ernest Hemingway house, and this property backs up to the back side of the Hemingway house. It’s literally steps away from Duval st., tons of shops and restaurants, and a 7-10 minute walk from the beach. I recommend ubering it to Fort Zachary beach or Smathers beach, 2 really good beaches. Fort Zachary has great swimming and. Snorkeling, but a rocky coral beach. Smathers is soft man made sand beach. The studio gets nice and cold with the air conditioning unit. I took a break in the middle of the wedding to come cool off. Clean, small, but with a fridge and basic plates, cups, etc. I would totally stay here again. Just me, or with 1 other person at most.

Quaint & convenient

Easy walking in Old Town. Met interesting visitors in adjacent units. Older property- updated, clean, functional with personality. No parking at property so search for on street parking was a challenge. Empty parking place just 3 yards from door to room & marked for by owner only was not used the entire time we were there. Walking 6 blocks when an empty space was just outside our door was hard to accept. We obeyed the parking rule but felt that communication with owner about this would be good. We had no communication with owner.
