I loved our stay at the Parrot Key! The property is extremely clean, our room was large with daily housekeeping. The property has many pools, great food at the restaurant, located right off the main drag but still very quiet. The staff are all extremely kind and want to cater to their guests. I was however, when checking out, I was made aware of a DAILY charge of $48.00 for a Resort Fee plus tax, along with a DAILY charge of $23.00 for valet parking plus tax. Unfortunately, for those two reasons I will not stay at the Parrot Key again. There are places to stay without daily resort fees and, I’m from New England, I can park my own damn car

Upon arrival the front desk clerk wasn't exactly the friendliest. Check in /out times are really inconvenient and honestly it is a rip off. They want to check in at 4:00pm and check out by 11:00. No courteous help to carry your baggage to your room. For the price it really is lacking. Definitely would not return. Had an old mildewy smell.They charge you a weird hotel fee ($70 per day for what??) and also $25 per night to park your car. They charge you twice basically, the reservation and fake fees. Restaurant bar completely lacking. We ordered a basic burger they didn't have it. Ordered a chicken sandwich they didn't have it. Finally the waiter/bar tender recommended the beef tacos. They were not edible. Old meat saturated in salt. The waiter himself agreed once he tasted it. Simply a complete disappointment after another.. The place feels "small", old and weathered down. No real value.

The property was beautiful. It's difficult to give a honest review. Due to tropical storm conditions from hurricane Helene we were not able to use the pools and the beach. Also, the main dining was closed due to renovations. We booked a 3 bedroom unit . It was nice, but it was difficult to use due to some physical disabilities and age. (Steps up to front door and stairs to 2nd and 3rd floor. ) The staff were excellent. We loved the cats and chickens!

Loved the pool bar area did not like having all of the wildlife begging cats and chickens we even saw two raccoons. The deck was full of poop from all the animals being around. Outside of that the rooms were nice I had about 15 guests come in to celebrate my birthday.

This place is absolutely beautiful. We came for a weekend but will definitely come back. You get a villa with separate rooms which is a plus for families, the hotel has 3 pools, bar, sunset deck, hammock and tons of amenities.

We got in later than expected, so after dark, the valet scared the crap out of my wife when he opened the door. Might need figure out how to be a little more subtle about that.. Also there were several minor things broken in our room.. nothing major but may want to have maintenance go through the room and check stuff out..

This is a beautiful resort! We will definitely be back! Conveniently located. Near Key West airport shopping and entertainment! They offer exiting excursions! It was really neat! My time there was way too short!

I checked into 12B the carpet was soaking wet, it smelled like roach spray and sure enough I opened the cabinet where the fridge was and found live roaches. I advised the office and they moved me to 13B which was no better. No hot water and I woke up and stepped on a roach. I contacted the office and was told nobody could help me because there was no management on property. Parking is not free either-FYI

Everything was perfectly set up for our stay. I had a room upgrade with flowers and champagne. The room was amazing and everything was there and set up perfectly. Very well organized and the best place I have stayed in the keys.

We did enjoy our stay ,however there a a couple of things that need improving. 1 is the hidden fees when checking in. When using expedia and you believe all is paid for, you find out at check in that they will put a big amount on your card for a hold for resort fees tax and incidentals. Mine was $732 dollars. I recieved $300 back from that hold. Needs to be more upfront on that . The second is the concierge. They are great until they leave for the day. If you have any questions after 3pm , the desk people dont have a clue on how to answer. I believe the desk should have more knowledge on certain things when the concierge leaves. What to do when a key is returned from renting a golf cart would be a good start. There is just some questions that might pop up that you want to ask at 4pm and you cant because the concierge is gone and the desk clerks say "i dont know , the concierge is gone for the day. If Parrot Key is not going to have a second shift concierge, than teach the desk certain things so they can be some help. I say all this , not in a complete negative way. We did enjoy our time at the Parrot Key. Probably one of the best views for the sunsets. The room cleaning and the people were excellent. Food and drinks were very good( a bit expensive) . The 4 pools to choose from was great.All in all , i would definitely recommend staying at the Parrot Key.

property was very pretty, staff was great, very pleasant personable, helpful, we had a wonderful time. Love the pools, great that there were several, enjoyed our dinner at restaurant, like that that there were restaurants in area and shopping next door was great. We appreciated the shuttles that drove us to spots we wanted to see. Thank you for a great 1st visit to Key West, and will return to your hotel and recommend you to family and friends. Our room was ok, did smell a bit musty but with the temperatures and humidity I imagine that is hard to control. The power outlets in our room by our bed and the wall beside it did not work, so we had to charge our devices across the room which was not great but did not ruin our stay. Pools were in nice quaint areas, the water view/access was not as nice as I was hoping for and you do need to drive into the town. There were a few places to eat within walking distance (fast five guys) a grocery store and a Ross store. Valet only parking option at this resort.
