Great location and very friendly helpful staff. The pools are both beautiful o one was rooftop with ocean views and the other on the ground court yard. The courtyard gardens are magnificent with beautiful birdlife. The lifts broke most days but were fixed within hours.

Pillows were very lumpy and sheets had burn holes in them. I asked for the bath to be cleaned as it had a dirty ring mark around it and I requested that 4 times in my 10 night stay and never got done once. There was gaps in the doors so the air conditioner wasn’t cooling the room down. I’ve stated before at champlunge a couple of years ago and it was great but now very disappointing.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Despite its 4-star rating, I found it to be worse than a Motel 6 in the USA. I’m baffled by how it received positive reviews. Issues Encountered: 1. False Advertisement: I booked one room advertised to have 6 beds. Upon arrival, we were given 3 separate rooms instead. 2. Unpleasant Odor: The rooms had a mode smell that made our stay very uncomfortable. 3. Overall Experience: The conditions were unacceptable for a supposedly 4-star establishment. I will not be returning to this hotel and cannot recommend it to others.

Disappointing
Booked pool side room and was given one looking over paved area. In the end i was glad tho cos there were loud bogans (not all Aussie) who didnt give a stuff about anyone else. Let their kids run riot screaming and shouting til past 11pm, music blaring -sounded like Indian music around pool when others trying to relax. No intervention by management. Room was old and tired. My last stay in pool room it was a nice room.
