Great location to almost everything you need including money exchange around the corner with great rates, restaurants and plenty of shopping. Gion and Pontocho Alley nearby. Amenities provided are good.

The location was amazing!! Right next to the busy streets and shopping areas. There’s a close by market. Great friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t Iike was how tiny the room was. Very very crammed space. Only fits one big luggage and one carry on inside room.

Location, location, location. This stay was great for us, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. You are less than a block from the main shopping street in Kyoto and within walking distance to some main attractions, access to a metro and bus stop within a block that can take you pretty much anywhere without changing routes. The room is on the smaller side even to japan standards but can't complain.

Hotel was great, beautiful easy to find. Close to the station and very walkable. A lot of restaurants and shopping around de area. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Satff was super nice! Very happy with our stay :)

I enjoyed my stay here, this place is very close to Nishiki market, Ichiran ramen, and the Maikoya tea ceremony. It is very accessible to buses and trains. The hotel offers complementary ice cream. My only complaint was that the refrigerator was not really cold at all, and I was surprised that the hotel does not use a luggage forwarding service.

Ac wasn’t working in room staff made aware twice and did nothing, wouldn’t let us switch rooms either they said all rooms were like that AC wise and if that is the case definitely not worth staying during the summer maybe winter

It was wonderful experience to stay this hotel!! Clean, quiet, low price per day, two welcome water, high height of shower bathtub!!!!( I'm over 190cm) ( I never saw this height in Japan except some 5 star hotel XD) kind staff!! Seriously, this hotel is INSANE! I must stay this hotel when I come Kyoto again!!!

The location of the hotel is perfect, but the rooms are very small. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. However, it does not serve breakfast. Considering the amount of money you pay, it is very good.
