never again room 001. The check in took ages. very long time. The room was very very small. Recomend if traveling on business to avoid the small rooms don stairs on the ground floor (rooms 001 to 003).

Rooms are quiet small can feel very claustrophobic if there two of you and not much room to move around. However, room were lovely and comfy and clean. And the staff were very friendly.

We were not in the building as it appears in the picture, but rather across the street. This was okay, but our room was in the front and every time someone came in the front door it would slam and then the walls in our room would shake. This made sleep very difficult. Also the airconditioning in our room blew out from the ceiling directly over the person on that side of the bed and it clicked all night. It was nice that they cleaned every day. The front desk staff if we went across the street to ask a question was pleasant. Not sure what they can do about the door, maybe make it close slowly so it doesn't slam. We were there for 2 weeks and this made sleep difficult. We liked the location and its quaintness fromm the outside.

The hotel rooms are to small and not enough space for one person. The staff didnot help me with my luggage and the hotel is a maze to get to the rooms. The property needs major renovations.

We booked a club double room, which was perfect for ourselves. It was of a adequate size and a great ensuite shower. Our room wasn't in the main hotel, but in, part of the hotel opposite. (Just over the road) but with the same standard. The room was clean, quiet and it had everything in it we needed and more, even a Microwave! The staff were lovely and very helpful. We were able to leave our luggage on the last day, so we could explore further. The hotel is perfectly situated approx 7 mins walk from Paddington station, and with a few small restaurants and convenience stores around if needed.

Room smelled damp, shower drained extremely slowly, wi-fi almost nonexistent, could not increase room temperature, door doesn't fall shut by itself (although it has an alarm to notify that door has been left ajar).
