Very classy place, clean, neat and one of the best things I liked were your young men taking our luggage to our room. These young men working there sets the tone. Yes, they have some kind of issues, it make me want to return because it is obvious that they care about people.

No hot water in Room 501 Called several times. Staff never answered the phones. Not once. Basically showered out of the sink. Was dead tired and not walking downstairs to the hotel lobby a quarter mile a way in steps. At 5:30am i had to walk downstairs. I got the hotel to let use a another room to take a shower and it hit had cold water Room 514. Staff could/ should have come then and checked it out my room 501. I didn’t bother to tell about room 514. The didn’t make the room change very smooth. They wanted me to gather my belonging out the other before going to other room. Understandable if we’re last night. I stay in hotels weekly. Im in lake Charles and surrounding areas a lot. We have a lot of customers in that area. I’m very easy going. This wasn’t a great experience. The property was nice. The rooms were nice. I can deal with non pleasant casino or hotel workers. I understand everyone is human. Not answering the phones on any line that night is ridiculous. I can go without a lot nice things but a decent shower after traveling and working all day is not one. Didn’t sleep at all.

Yes I came with my daughter specifically the pool and lazy river. I called the hotel twice to see if it was open and was told yes. The whole time there was leaves and tree dropping in the lazy river. Three d add us and never clean. I will try Golden Nugget next time.
