The towels were small and thin. There was no wash cloth in the room, so we had to request one. They used to have a continental breakfast, but they no longer offer one.

The hotel is in a great location. It's an older property but kept up. There are some areas outside the rooms that could use a little more Tender Loving Care. I staid for 2 nights and there was no Maid Service. Not sure if this is some kind of left over Covid policy. I have stayed here in the pass and find it a great value for your money. The person working the front desk was very friendly.

Disappointing stay at Red Roof Inn
The hotel and room was clean. However , there are several items that need attention. There was no phone in the room. This makes contacting the front desk when there is a problem. There was a domestic dispute after midnight with screaming and angry words lasting well over 30 minutes. Then close to 4am the fire alarm goes off. The alarm goes silent after 60sec but no information given. The front desk clerk had no answers and only could repeat "I write note". He repeated this same sentence to every question / comment I had. I meant to contact the manager however my business consumed all my time. After staying at this hotel most times I visit Lancaster. I honestly don't know if I will return. Extremely disappointing.

Have stayed here twice before but the property has declined. Staff was friendly and the room was basically ok but the floor was filthy (toddler’s feet were clean then filthy in <5 minutes! We had to wash them before he could go to bed). The elevator area run down, filthy and had old furniture set up as a sitting area on the landing. It looked like the property may be being used as a homeless shelter based on the condition and the people that were hanging around (disheveled & smelling of pit)

The check in associate was angry that the dog was not on the listing. Asked for a $150.00 security fee in cash. Told me that once they look into the room AFTER checkout, and it's acceptable I would get a cash refund for the deposit.

Building in need of painting in several locations, especially the elevator interior. Old, dirty chairs placed outside elevator as a rest nook, very unappealing. Room was nicely appointed, beds were comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave in room, very nice. Bathroom very clean.

My experience was at night time. There are many expenses to management I’m sure. The old, old towels were Very Unwelcoming. The Handicap Bathroom while good with safety bars, however, there was black mold to the Shower Tiles. Bleach and Grout Brush is needed as well as Room Freshener and likely needed air filter change in the AC - Heat Unit. Really needs refreshing top to bottom. 🕊️

I did not like that the hotel requires a 150 dollar cash only refundable deposit. Guests should be informed of the policy prior to arrival, i cant imagine many people carry that much cash anymore and of course the ATM in the lobby charges a 3 or 4 dollar fee. The ATM machine only gave 20s, so I ended up giving the employee 160 dollars for the refundable depositt, because she didnt have change, eventhough they are charging everyone cash. all very weird and suspect.

I had my first bad experience here. They claim that they had to give a refund to a customer who stayed in the room after me because my dog sheds hair. Ok. They claim that they needed 2 hours to clean up dog hair on the carpet area around the bed. I’m gonna say that is on the staff. Then this stay they kept $25 of my deposit for dog hair. But my handicap room had fecal matter all across the outer edge of the toilet seat and top outer edge of the bowl portion. The bedding was stained and smelled I had taken all the bedding to the laundromat myself. There were roaches dead and alive in the room. I never came and complained about it. If you need 2 hours after 2 guests to clean up dog hair from the first guest “me” then I feel that it’s on the staff that is responsible for cleaning the room. If the right person were to walk into this location. I bid them good luck. They are renovating but there’s health and safety hazards all over this location. My prior stay I gave a good review, but that was only because of only 1 staff member there. He was very professional and very courteous and accommodating to us. I have stayed at this location for 5-7 day clips multiple times the past few months. I don’t like to bother the staff until I lose my key or lock myself out of my room. If I have a issue I just deal with it or do it myself.
