Dear Nicola, Thank you so much for share your experience in RK Luz Playa Suites. It is a pleasure to know that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your words to our staff. We work hard every day to satisfied to our guests. About your problem with the hot water, this water heater had 2 months old. This type of heater is the one that all Canary people use in their houses. The one in my house is exactly the same :) . This type of heater introduces water in itselfs to getting warm so if you use all the hot water inside, you need to wait a bit for the water to get hot. There was a orange light in the heater that, as the reception staff explained to you, when the light is off, the water in the heater is completly warm. We are a little hotel and the hotel structures does not allowed. The structure of the hotel does not allow the installation of a central boiler. We hope that you understand this little inconvenient and give us the opportunity again if you want to visit Gran Canaria. Kind regards, Lilian Verona (Reception).
