Far from great…or even good
I’ll start by saying we didn’t check in till midnight and checked out before 9 am, so I did not have time to bring these issues up with the hotel staff. When I booked, I picked the “pay at hotel option”, as I was unsure where finances would be. When I arrived I tried handing them a card different from the one I entered when booking, and was told it had charged earlier in the day. Not ideal, and I can take blame for that, but I’m sure that would be a much bigger problem for others. We got to our room, and there were several issues: -The Double Sofa Bed advertised was only a twin. This was an issue when I was planning on having my two young kids sleep on it together. -It also had no bedding what so ever. I had to go to the front desk to get linens just to sleep on it. -The microwave was very dirty. We refused to use it for our leftovers -The toilet seat was so loose that I thought it might fall off. -Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. That’s just gross. I tried adjusting the drain and ended up losing half my finger nail because it didn’t want to move. -TV would just turn off after 10 minutes or so, and would “reset”, so that the volume was very loud when turned back on. Made the mistake of turning it back on once and waking up my kids, then when it turned off again I just gave up. These issues might have been isolated to my room, as relatives I had in another room were happy with it. But I definitely was not pleased with my stay for the cost, even as a budget hotel.

Would stay here again. Best Western Leesburg.
Two days. Dog friendly, excellent breakfast, room comfortable, a bit pricy. 12 minute ride to Morven Park Equestrian Center. Great Mex Restaurant across Market Street. Food in walking distance. Good location to Rt 15/7. One mile to downtown old Leesburg.

I'll pass on this hotel.
I arrived at Best Western Leesburg ready to check in only to find nobody at the desk. I called out several times "hello?" with no response. I then yelled "HELLO?", still no response. A couple came in after me, and a single after them. Now we have 5 people waiting and nobody at the desk. I finally called the hotel phone and a gentleman came from the back to answer the phone. Very disappointed. I'll pass on this hotel in the future.

We had a late check-in, which was easy. However, the shower setup was a bit wonky; the temperature knob for the shower was the exact opposite of where hot and cold was, plus the paint on the soap tray was coming off. Also the toilet seat was a bit loose and couldn't be tightened, indicating that the thread for the bolt holding the seat in place was stripped. The breakfast included was nothing special; convenient if you needed something quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay again, as the issues were very minor.

When i made the reservation, i reserved a room with a king bed. When i arrived, they had no king bed rooms left. The attendant then attempted to bribe me with potato chips for a room with 2 queen beds. I told him i didnt want the chips, i want a roomwith a king bed. He said there were no more left. The queen bed was extremely uncomfortable and my wife and i were left unrested. Every hard surface in the room was sicky and when the heater was turned on it smelled of burning hair and dust.
