Horrible experience with our stay. The hotel needs urgent TLC. We checked in and we were told that if we would lose our plastic room key that we will be charged. When we arrived to our room and the key did not work, the front door did not open so we had to go to the receptionist three times before they resolved our issue. We get into the room only 2 townels and no assitional bath towels. Ugly room which smelled like mold. I wake up early in the morning to get ready for a meeting and I can’t shower. There’s no hot water and the shower head was bad. We will NEVER stay there again and I don’t recommend staying there.

The hotel is outdated, even by the standards of budget motels. It is poorly maintained, with everything appearing old and cheaply constructed. At 2 a.m., we were startled awake by loud noises from the street that sounded like gunshots. We couldn’t wait to leave the hotel as soon as possible. This experience is a significant disappointment for the Best Western brand, and we will seriously reconsider staying at any of their properties in the future.

Casino close and misleading by hotel name on sites

Hotel close to plaza Rosa with great pizza restaurant and other fast food chains nearby, hotel ground nice with pool and plenty of sun loungers, our room was on ground floor close to reception area, heard traffic noise at night from cars on main road, the casino is permanently closed so disappointing and misleading to call it hotel and casino hotel on both hotels.com and the best western website as the name should not include the word casino if it’s not open! Good buffet breakfast included so overall a good place to stay, we used it for 1 night as a stopping point ready to cross border to Nicaragua the next day.

Some of what they advertised was misleading? They advertise a hotel and casino but the casino has not been open since the Covid epidemic ? i do not think this style of hotel management could or would be used in Canada or the USA if they wanted to stay in business

Towels were dirty/stained. Tried to get new bath towels told there are not anymore they are all in the dryer. The casino is closed looks like it’s been closed for a long time. Really worn out property. No refrigerator, no shampoo just a body wash. No ice or bucket.

Great place to stay either flying in or flying out. Everything you need is walking distance including grocery store, bank, restaurants, Walmart. There is NO casino on site. Apparently hasn’t been around for years. Also no airport shuttle included. Pool was awesome, so was the included breakfast. The only issue were the toilets in the rooms, they wont flush or fill back up. Staff were great and stored luggage when we arrived early and left late.
