Nice but could be improved
Nice but basic hotel in central location perfect for exploring Oslo. They advise to keep the price down they do not clean your room, but you can speak to them if they want this done, we didn’t so just meant we had an overflowing bin by the end of the stay and room didn’t feel as clean and tidy as would normally be the case. The design of the shower in the room was terrible with nothing to stop the water leaking out after every shower making the floor by the sink and toilet wet, not ideal. The carpet in the elevator and hallways clearly don’t get cleaned either so looked a bit untidy. The sloped ceiling so close to the bed was impractical and hazardous when moving around the bedroom. Would be a great hotel if these things could be addressed. Otherwise a very good stay.

Super location, super comfortable bed
Amazing location, just a 3 minute walk from the train station and so central to walk everywhere. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Room was small but had everything I needed.

Room was small and basic but sufficient, so worked well for me on a budget. The rooms don't come with kettles but you can ask the staff for one, so I did. Communal kitchenette was useful, and the Norwegian cafe "Spor Av Nord" downstairs was lovely. The thermostat in my bathroom was set too hot, apparently I could have adjusted it but I didn't realise.

Oslo CityBox - great hotel
Great hotel, centrally located & only 5 minutes walk from the station. Check in was easy with terminals in lobby, and there was someone on hand for an issues. Reasonably priced for an expensive city. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were small, but who spends that much time on your room when there is so much to see! Loved the common areas & kitchenette, ideal if travelling in a group so you can socialise together. On complaint was the outside noise late at night & the trams early in the morning.

The hotel was very conveniently located and was exactly what I needed for a quick two day stay in Oslo. However, the room was FREEZING at night time. I could only adjust the temperature of the bathroom floor? And there was no one to contact about it. Brrrr
