Good value, clean, comfortable.

I stayed at this place because it had Wyndham in the title, and I was booked for the Wyndham property in Princeville already. Well, this one isn't actually a Wyndham property. It's just managed by Wyndham. That said, if one doesn't expect the same quality for 2/3's the price, then one won't be disappointed. The property is respectable, crawling distance to the beach, and has the lullaby sound of ocean waves always in tune. The unit was clean, and had everything normal people need (there was no waffle iron, darn it)! I'd stay here again, knowing that I spend most of my time outside my unit anyway. I had an ocean view, in a clean, well-appointed, and comfortable unit, so I am happy with my decision. By the way, the resort fee gets visitors a wrist band that allows access to the adjacent complex, which has nice pools, jacuzzis, outdoor bars, etc. (The fitness ctr is nothing as nice as the Wyndham Bali Hai, but again, you get what you pay for.) I wanted to spend my last couple of days near the airport, for departure ease, and that's how I ended up here.

Taken from the beach literally 30 yards from my Kauai Beach Villas door. (Note: swimming is strongly discouraged because of the rip-tides here. You really want to explore the other beaches, like Shipwreck, Secret, Tunnels, Ke'e, etc.).

I liked that this property was in the middle of everything. From this location it didn’t take long to get from one side of the island or the other side. Beds were super comfortable. Great workers with welcoming attitudes. Definitely will be back in the future.

The property is well maintained and has beautiful water fountains. Beach access with just a short walk. Access to the beautiful pools at the Kauai Beach Resort/Outrigger. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The facility itself is old but still clean in our room at least. But the place where my sister was initially placed in the other building was not good. The smell is like mold and smoke. The towels were not clean. We initially requested if we can be placed next to each other room. They said no. But after my sis complained about the room they were transferred next to our room

This is our second time staying at this property and we love it. It's nice to have two different pool options for our small children. The location on the island is great for exploring and very close to the airport. It is a short walk to the beach for beautiful pictures. Honestly, it is hard to imagine us staying anywhere else.

Pros: Great pools, lovely beach walkable just to the north, convenient central location for other areas of the island. Cons: Facilities and rooms show their age. Best feature is the access to the neighboring resort’s pool areas. The beach is a beautiful sand beach, but directly in front of the property is too rough for swimming. However, if you walk just a bit north it is much safer and tons of space. The room was very clean but aged and run down. We used the sofa bed every night and I could not figure out how to fold it up every morning, so I had to ask maintenance for help closing it. They finally ignored my ask for help on the last day. I asked several times for instructions on how to close it (it doesn’t collapse like every other sofa bed I’ve ever encountered, believe me I’m not a complete novice), but they never gave me any tips or guidance. For one day during our stay our building didn’t have any running water. Workers stayed on it and finally it came back on around 8:30 pm, but it seemed a bit touch-and-go for a while there. I was skeptical about the Lihue location being so close to the airport but it really was very central and made it so much easier for getting around the island than when we have stayed at Poipu in the past. Service was friendly.

My stay at Kauai Beach Villas was an unforgettable experience. The combination of luxurious accommodations, stunning location, excellent service, and diverse activities made it the perfect getaway.
