nice room, larger than expected, with a rooftop that has killer views. staff was pleasant, check in/out was quick. I appreciated that they warned me of a large group in the hotel and offered an upgrade or cancellation ahead of time. the group was no problem at all, and I saw them throughout the hotel. Would come back if seeing a show in Hollywood. valet parking expensive at $55, but I think it’s fairly typical for LA. They were quick bringing it to me though

From the onset, this boutique hotel felt larger. Staff was always on hand and attentive. Eager to lend assistance. The parking is valet only, but they are quick and professional and available 24 hours. Our room was immaculate but cozy but not too small. We had a garden level room, which made up for the coziness with a spacious outside area where we took advantage of our daily breakfast and during the day snacks. We love music, but if you don’t like loud dj music entering your room i would not suggest a room in the courtyard, the sound travels clearly down and could be disruptive. Again we enjoyed the late night serenade though. The top level pool and bars was very nice, and of quality with clean and ample seating areas. The views of the Hollywood hills was spectacular.

Staff I was checked in with not helpful and not polite . Had attitude . No one there to help with bags and no intention to help . My room ac was off and language was set to Spanish . Whim asked them they said they could not help . When told them can not stay without ac do they want me to check he said I could google it . I asked him if he knew Spano so and he said yes. I asked him to translate the word English in Spanish so that I could reset it to English . He then translated it to me . No problem solving skills or intention to problem solve. Total attitude of the staff did not feel good and not welcoming at all. It felt like any problem the hotel had was my problem . Proper communication and politeness could improve the customer service and satisfaction. I will never book that hotel again . It is not worth paying that much money for that much hassle .

The stay was overall good clean and nice rooms,gentleman at the front desk was helpful gave me an upgraded room that had access to a courtyard with happy hour that included drinks and appetizers however the young ladies who worked there were dismissive did not acknowledge us not customer service skills we had to ask how it worked with getting drinks she responded with you can take them but when an American couple walked in they received different treatment they were received with a welcome and how can I help you? lastly at night we went up to the roof top lounge had a terrible experience with the security guard he was rude and mean, they all need to work on their customer service skills
