Super convenient spot with access to downtown and fairgrounds. Only complaint is the lock on room door took anywhere from 2 to 4 hits with card before it would open. Was told they fixed but it never worked better.

The check in service people was a dick to me coming in and leaving. They wouldn't let me check in later for my event so i had to miss some of that. Plus the whole i got back from stiff bed and no vending machies all they had were over priced bites of food. No help if your in a delma just good luck wish i could leave a worrse review.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I was insulted by the General Manager of the hotel which had me crying. When I told him what he said was not necessary or professional (did not yell/curse/etc) he said he was going to hang up on me. He refused to give me his manager's number so I called the corporate line and filed a formal complaint.

Nice weekend stay, great Location
The front desk staff always had a friendly smile and were happy to help. Our room was at the end of the first floor hallway and we had some noise from guests using the door leading to the parking lot. The pool was delightful; wish we had a patio! There were several good choices for breakfast nearby. The room had a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. These were clearly a plus!

Perfect location! Walk out our sliding door to the pool. Pool hours are great. 8-10. Lots of time to utilize. The pool is clean and refreshing.

The staff was very courteous and friendly but the room was musty, key cards didn't work and had to go to the front desk daily to get them fixed. The hallways were EXTREMELY HOT and there was a constant horrible smell that they tried to cover with cheap air freshener.

The staff attitude was mixed. Upon arrival, Brittany asked me tersley, "How can I help you?", an odd question given I had luggage in tow and was obviously a guest. I expected a more polite question, such as, "welcome to Marriott, how can I help you," with a smile. Her next question was an accusatory, "Why are you here?" My initial silent response was "none of your business," but I held my tongue and replied "business." (I won't disclose my true purpose.) In short, she was rude and inhospitable, something that shocked me, especially given I expected more from a Louisville and Marriott representative. As far as accommodations, room service extends to cleaning and towel changing only. You are on your own for bed making. Compared to Holiday Inn Express, this hotel is a far second insofar as the rooms (they are dated) and I do not recommend it if you are traveling. I will never stay there again. On the plus side, the area is nice and there are many other hotels nearby, including Holiday Inn Express, which I recommend.
