We loved our stay at the Ashmore Inn & Suites and wished we'd discovered it earlier as we've made many trips to Lubbock. The staff shared with great pride that the property is privately owned. It may not have all of the amenities of the large luxury chain hotels but it was EXCEPTIONALLY clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe. We will definitely book again.

Didn’t like the fact that the elevator was not working but nonetheless we have legs so the use of the stairs weren’t a problem

The room was not clean, mostly dust on surfaces. No coffee in the room. Too few towels. Two of three light bulbs in lamps were burned out. Lamp shade torn. No bar soap. Nasty dust covered hair scrunchy under the chair. Understaffed but deck help was polite and professional. We will not be back.

The hotel is old and not updated at all. The toilet had minimal flushing capability. Walking down the hallway, wallpaper coming off the wall. The hotel has an odd smell, like trying to cover up something. Check out time is 12am but an employee comes knocking on your door at 930 to tell you check out time is 1100. Very strange. Do not recommend at all
