I enjoyed my stay with my 2 grandkids. Having a seating area with a full size table made it nice for them to eat and color. The pool and hot tub area was nice. The breakfast buffet had good options or you could get the chef to make you something.

Poor service in the bar
This hotel is showing its age, although for the most part it still looks pretty good. We stayed in a corner suite, which is the best room at the hotel according to the front desk. Despite this, there were stains on the chairs and the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. It's an old school Embassy, so it has an open atrium. At night it was quite nice, with ambient lighting and quiet music over the PA system. The bar was not a good experience, however. Twice I went down at about 8:45pm and was ignored by the bartender. Both times, after about 15 minutes of sitting there I had to flag the bartender down. The second night the bartender chatted up a small group of other customers, repeatedly walking by me without acknowledging me. I bartended for 31 years - this is not how bar service is supposed to be done. We've stayed here several times over the past couple of years. It's unlikely we'll stay there ever again.

Not the best Embassy we’ve stayed in. Patches in the carpet, room smelled of marijuana, folks upstairs stomping around late into the night, room would not cool off, could hear the rollers on the trash cart rolling up to the dumpster right below our window, and tub/shower needs attention.

I thought housekeeping was excellent. Room was very clean. The big problem with this hotel is that the rooms are more than tired. Rusty metal all through the bathroom. All the furniture is chipped and scratched. Bathtub stained. Might be time for some investment

The hotel is older but they try to maintain it. The breakfast was good. 2 complimentary happy hour cocktails. We were put in a handicapped room and didn’t know it until we got to our room. That was a little inconvenient.

A little pricey, but comfortable
We enjoy staying here when we come to Lubbock. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and we really enjoy the made to order omelet breakfast. For our anniversary we stayed in the honeymoon suite. It is nice, the jacuzzi tub is great. The double shower has some valve handles that don't work or fall off, had to do a little hardware maintenance to get it going. There is definitely some updating and fixing up that is needed. Overall, we were comfortable and had fun, but for the price of that honeymoon suite I am not sure I would stay there again, unless it gets fixed up right.

The rooms need updating bad! Our pullout sofa looked like a horror movie! The carpet as well. Bathroom tub didn’t drain and you would think for what they charge they could do better! They give you a couple free drinks during happy hr but only 3 different options to choose from and the beer on tap is warm. I used to stay at embassy suits often but this was the last time for my family. Coffee is good!

Rooms in Desperate Need of Uplift
The staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas and amenities are nice as well. However, the rooms are very outdated. The furniture is in disgusting shape. Large stains and they look like they are from the 90s. The carpet appears to be a brown color, but when you take a closer look it is very dirty red and green carpet. I can’t recommend staying here.

The staff was extremely polite and professional, I had come up for family and this place was great. Wonderful hotel with good maintenance, scenery and nice rooms. Wish I could have stayed longer. I will return on my next trip to Lubbock as well as recommend this one to others!!

I Booked 2 suites at the Embassy for a overnight stay for my sons 16th Birthday he had a few friends stay also and the suite was very accommodating for all them. There was a small bar like table for food and drinks we had a small balloon setup so there was plenty room. Pool was a good size they definitely enjoyed that. Breakfast was top tier!!! 👌 They were up at 645 heading down. Only thing that kinda was on low end is they didn't have both rooms ready so we checked in 1 at 4ish and the other about 645 pm. But overall i definitely recommended and will book again.

The staff is outstanding in all areas. The hotel has a neat design and is beautiful. We loved our room and it gave us and our son privacy at night. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we have had in all our stays at hotels. Definitely will stay again if ever in Lubbock.
