I was supposed to be in a non-smoking room (and building I thought). But the hallway my room was in had very Strong pot smoke smell ! I called the office and they said they would check it out but nothing changed and I didn't hear another word from the office

Overall I would say, a bit dated, needs to be renovated or spruced up. Paint is like a smoker lived there for decades as it looks like parchment paper. Rooms are big, beds are good, furniture needs a new looks. Staff at reception was very pleasant and professional.

We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The microwave was filthy. There was mildew on the bathroom ceiling. The hall and room smelled musty and damp. The beds and pillows were too soft. The breakfast was fine. The front desk staff was very nice.

Location is great. Right off the interstate, but also local main line roads. 5-10 minutes from Macon Coliseum. Rooms were quite nice as well as the staff.

A few problems encountered....
The lobby was very nice, and our room was "acceptable"...but the heater/AC was not working nor was the thermostat on the wall. As it turns out, the unit was not plugged in at all, so my husband had to get down on the floor to try to plug it in which was no small feat. Then the TV would not get a signal. The hotel attendant had to come and get that all figured out. But what was most disturbing was the 2 roach-like bugs that I killed in our bathroom. Yuck!
