The property requires a CASH ONLY security deposit, even if you used a credit card to book. The area around the property is Sketchy AF…there was a shirtless person staring us down as we walked in, the security guard said that they talked to them but they wouldn’t leave. The place also has a funky smell - and while the rooms are cleanish, the hallways feel like a bad horror scene.

I booked the hotel by the looks of the pictures and old old old reviews when I got there the hotel look like a old building that is close inside smelled like cigarettes,I ask for a refund and it wasn't granted so my money went to waste don't stay at this hotel. Im also waiting for them to reach out to me in regards to app credit or something. I was so and still not please

This Econo Lodge is Very Misleading
I was very confused when we got to the hotel, I feel like i was mislead completely by This Econo Lodge, nowhere on the post did it say what it actually is, It's very old, very run down,parts of the hotel are falling apart, and it feels very old prison or aslym like, the parking lot almost gave us a flat tire, so do be careful, lots of broken parts, and huge holes all over. They only accept cash for a deposit, No ATM on site, No Wifi at all, you will connect but it will say no wifi available, You have to check out n be at the office before 11 they told us, one minute after 11 you will lose your 50 bucks, they do an inspection so prepare for a wait, nothing crazy but if you're in a hurry be mindful of that, the room was fine,its a 2 star not a five, dont be expecting a 5 star room for a 2 star price, i saw a few dead bugs, but its Fl we have bugs all over the place, so I understand they do get in, Nothing that would make you want to run out screaming, I saw many reviews say the staff was unfriendly, I can only speak for my experience n it was overall fine, the woman we delt with wasn't mean, she's stern, but i watched her deal with some people that weren't the best, and she never raised her voice or got mean, just a very firm woman, My main issue is the lies on this hotel, they need to tell you ahead of time that its just a rundown old Econo Lodge, Even at the discounted price, I feel like i overpaid

I had went to check in and to my surprise I was in this “Do not rent to” list without reason. I had told them my situation about being out on the street with my 4 kids and have been paying for hotels to be able to get by day to day and they still didn’t want to work with me or tell me why I couldn’t rent. Tried to get the refund through Expedia, so Expedia calls them and they don’t answer giving Expedia no choice but to take their 7-10 business days to review and process if possible. This hotel has also made other check ins difficult when my family has tried to book… then don’t process refunds. It’s been over 200 dollars they have STOLEN from us. Because to put someone on a no renters list for no reason, when we check out on time and provide them their key cards back and have never been rude or destructive, is not ok. If they have a no renters list they should provide that too! I wouldn’t have wasted money had I KNOWN I could not rent there. This hotel is careless!
