This is a lovely hotel in a prime area. Everything we wanted to visit was in walking distance. We booked a room overlooking Plaza Mayor. It was amazing to have such a spectacular view. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and attentive. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

The room faces internal courtyard. I can’t open the window because of the fishy smell from restaurant below. The rooftop pool and bar were nice but also smelled strongly of fish from the restaurant. Better ventilation of kitchen may help.

We had a terrific stay. Hotel is well located in central Madrid, everything we wanted to see was walkable and the Bernabau stadium was only a short metro trip away. All the staff were friendly and welcoming no matter how busy they were. The hotel itself is lovely, we had a room facing the courtyard which was quiet. The room was nice and clean. We used the indoor pool and sauna which again was clean and relaxing, towels are provided. There is an excellent choice of food for breakfast and we ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was tasty. Would definitely stay there again if in Madrid.
