The hotel could do with some maintenance around some areas and the bathroom Around the pool there are limited seat and some were broken the pool is very small Good location easy to get around the mall at the side of the hotel was great for food

Lovely stay
We love this hotel and have stayed here previously. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, the beds and pillows are to die for! Air conditioning ensures a comfortable room and the shower is lovely too. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. We would definitely stay here again.

My recent stay at the Barceló Málaga Hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we checked in, the experience was dreadful. The check-in process was a nightmare with no assistance offered for our baggage. To make matters worse, they got our room wrong, which added to the frustration. The cleanliness of the hotel was far below standard. Our room was not properly cleaned, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, they seem to nickel and dime you for everything. There were charges for using towels, and parking was a daily hassle as you have to validate it every single day, which is highly inconvenient. I expected much better service and amenities for the price we paid. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly not be returning.

This amazing Barcelo Hotel has a door with direct access to the Mall. Can you believe that. The pool is quite nice ( no internet in the pool area). The gym is amazing with city panoramic view. The ac system is the best I ever seen. Digital modern and easy to understand. One botton only. The breakfast selection is above average. However I have to mention in the summer time the breakfast room is extremely busy. I had to wait 15 minutes everyday for my omelette. They only have one stove for the omelettes cook And there are dozens and dozens of rooms in the hotel so do your math. I still rate them 5 stars. I would stay here again for sure and recommended to everyone!

Hotel Barcelo
Nice hotel located next to train station and within a shopping centre, which has a supermarket and eateries. It is 3 stops from airport. Train station ideal for trips to Torremolinos etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Smallish pool and area on 8th floor but nice and relaxing. Small gym, okish equipment. We found out the sauna has to be booked in advance, would've been nice to have been advised. Room was a good size with air con and a fridge. Had a kettle too with complimentary tea and coffee. About a 30 minute enjoyable walk into the centre of Malaga, and 40 mins to the marina. There is a beach and some cafes about a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

Do not go here if you want to relax. Pool is tiny and the pool area was packed! Couldn’t get a sun chair. Also not a single parasol in site so need to sit in the beaming sun (if you can find a chair). Lots of noisy Brits. Wasn’t told the parking would be €22 per day! Our bed was very very comfortable and the room was nice overall, few bits needing tlc but was overall nice and comfy. Very close to airport too

The Hotel is so easy to access directly from the Train Station. The metro station is also nearby to take us to the Old Town. Very convenient. The small pool was refreshing. The pool area should have more shade though. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Friendly and helpful staff. Especially Nacho on reception. The rooms were very clean with a comfortable bed. Overall a great experience.

Not the best Barcelo hotel I've used, but OK.
It was OK. Check in and out was pretty inefficient - I think they had a new staff member. Having previously stayed at Barcelo Granada this hotel was not as good. Rooms were smaller, shower was in the bath which for old people is difficult to step in and out.
