DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE!
The rental (Snowbird unit 201) over promised and under delivered. Every part of this place is gross and outdated or not working, with the exception of the beds (thank God!). The owner has actually been given an ultimatum to improve the place but has not done so yet. Rent ANY other rental in Mammoth Lakes and you will be much happier. It's also suspect that there were no bad reviews before this one because the property manager admitted there have been other complaints. Hopefully VRBO, the broker Red Awning, and the property manager 1949 Condos figure out a way to make it right because the stay and the response to my complaints were unacceptable (I must say that the manager at the snowbird property was kind but not able to help).

Perfect location, fantastic accommodation
HIGHLY recommend this place!! We stayed here with 2 families (9 of us in total). It was an ABSOLUTE prime location to Canyon Lodge. Walk to Chair 8, 7, 17 etc. so easily. The property is large and clean and everything works well. It’s spread out with space for the kids to get out of your hair! There is a rec room with pool table, ping pong as well. Two under cover parking spaces made a huge difference particular during the time we were there with huge snowfalls. Patrick, the building manager is wonderful and incredibly helpful with all your needs. We also used black tie ski rental…100% worth the little extra cost. Needed to change boots and add things and nothing was a problem. We could not believe our luck finding this property available over Xmas!! Will most definitely be back… as soon as we can find availability!!

Some confusion with parking but otherwise a GREAT experience and place to stay!
Place is perfectly located by the lodge, clean, spacious, fairly updated, and we love the indoor parking. Only mix up was I had messaged the office to check if we can get a 3rd parking spot and they responded inaccurately that it was available with this listing (I realize now whomever responded referred to another property). I luckily called on our arrival date only to find out about this mix up. Thankfully office helped us get extra parking in an overfill area in another building (mainly because it was not busy but not sure what would have happened in a busy time). If I didn’t call ahead we would’ve showed up after office hours with no solution and no one there to help us. With a 4 bedroom unit, I do wish more parking came as a standard but understand the limitations. Just be sure to plan for that in advance. Besides the misinformation, it was a fantastic stay and great place!
