Most likely the worst room in the hotel. toilets dirty

Comfortable - but watch your bill!

The hotel is superbly located in the most impressive square in Mannheim and a short walk from both the town centre and the train station. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the fitness centre is very pleasant. My sole gripe is that the hotel seems to have an ethos of trying to overcharge the guest wherever possible. I found a bottle of minibar water on my bill even though I had not consumed any. Apparently the cleaner saw an empty bottle in my room (which I had brought in from outside) and assumed it had come from the minibar. The hotel promotes its own wired internet service at 15 Euros for 24 hours but does not tell guests - even if they ask specifically - that the whole hotel is a t-mobile hotspot and that a t-mobile wireless subscription is only 29 Euros for a whole month! Far more convenient for anyone staying more than two days. A colleague of mine was erroneously charged three times for the 15 Euro internet service within the space of 24 hours and had to argue to get two of the charges removed. And I was very nearly charged 17 Euros for a capuccino! Apparently, if you order it in the breakfast room it counts as breakfast, for which there is a fixed price of 17 Euros, whereas if you order it in the lobby it costs 2 Euros.

Musste zweimal das Zimmer wechseln, da die Lüftung defekt war und beide Zimmer wie eine Abfallhalde rochen. Leider hat sich das Personal nicht kulant gezeigt. Musste das erste Zimmer um 4:30 morgens wechseln und habe schlaflose Nacht gehabt. Das Hotel ist verkauft worden und nichts mehr wird repariert. Bitte das Hotel nicht mehr promoten. Der Absolute Horror.

Ein in die Jahre gekommendes Hotel, freundliches Personal und saubere Zimmer. Durch den Ausfall der Klimaanlage waren die Temperaturen im Zimmer unerträglich, daher auch meine schlechte Bewertung
