Fireman’s Cabin
We really enjoyed the Fireman’s cabin. Check-in was easy. The cabin was comfy with everything we needed to have a nice weekend. The kids enjoyed the treehouse, exploring the property, and canoeing. We will definitely consider this again when in the area.

Charming cabin in scenic area
We had a wonderful time at Creekside! Staff was very friendly. Cabin was clean and comfortable with a vintage feel. The decor and toys were charming. The listing said it would sleep 7, and while it does, I think it would be a bit crammed during wake hours with that many. It was perfect for 3! There is a treehouse within a short walking distance that my daughter enjoyed.

Wonderful Visit, But...
Everything about this property and cabin was 100% wonderful, except my husband and I were hoping for seclusion as described by other visitors. It appeared to be secluded, but when we arrived, we were disappointed that it's in a "neighborhood" of cabins and residential properties. There was traffic, and we could hear full conversations from the neighbors. The accommodations were nice, however. We prefer a firmer mattress. Management staff was incredible! They're definitely friendly and helpful. We had trouble backing out of the driveway in our Chevy Colorado and always had to use 4wd. It was nice to visit Marble Falls, as I had never been there. There are tons of good restaurants and things to do! Because we prefer seclusion, we probably won't stay again, but if you have no preference, you will LOVE to stay here!

Stayed at Firehouse Cabin.. very comfy
Cabin has a good amount of room to move around, full of amenities, and a/c for the warmer days. If you think you've forgotten something, ask they may have it....

Truly a rustic cabin off the beaten path. A little too much clutter and antique stove and kitchen area was a turn off. Air conditioning didn’t keep the cabin cool enough. Television was tiny. Staff was very friendly.

Cute cabin located close to Hidden Falls Adventure Park
House is cute and cozy. Had all the amenities (no toiletries besides toilet paper, so bring your own) needed for our trip planned to Hidden Falls, which by the way is just up the road! Kids loved, loved, LOVED playing in the creek (ages 10 and 14) They used the canoes quite a bit. Nice big lawn area to sit on with plenty of seating to watch the kids play. It is a steep walk to get down there, but we didn't mind at all. Just a couple of things: T-Mobile service is awful in the area! You are asked to call or text when you get there, but we had no service. We did find an area in the middle of the road just out of the Firehouse driveway that worked decent. Only other thing I wish we had known, but will know for next time is that the office is through the gate down towards the end of the drive. No one mans the office during the day, but they are there more as needed. So if you have T-mobile, call or text BEFORE you lose signal, and the house outside the gate is a private residence not part of Creekside Cabins. It is a beautiful, outdoorsy place! Enjoy!

Adorable cabin experience
We had such a great three night get away with our friends. The porch was so perfect even in the Texas heat. The cabin itself was so comfortable. We had an absolute blast and the owners couldn't have been more accommodating. Easy everything and they personally went above and beyond when we asked. Thanks so much Juliet and family!

Really nice and secluded
Really great cabin, accommodated all seven of us really well. Our only mishap was it was really hot and the ac doesn’t go below 72, but they had a fan, and we had brought one just in case, so we got a nice current going through the cabin (so bring a fan!), but overall did not deter from our experience because we still had a blast. We can’t wait to come back! 10/10 would recommend.

Charming, rustic cabin perfect for quiet getaway
If you are looking to disconnect from the fast-paced world for a few days, this cabin (and this property as a whole) are the perfect place to do it. There is no TV and no WIFI, so plan to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding trees and the lovely creek running through the property at the bottom of the hill. (On a side note, my son fell in love with a blue vintage fairy tale book he found on a shelf and is still talking about the stories we read together every night.) Our group of two adults and one child were comfortable, and we could have added another person or two in the upstairs loft area. Seven people (as listed in the description) may be a squeeze using the futon in the living area, but it could be done. The stairs to the loft are precarious, so very small children and elderly adults would probably not be able to manage them easily, and the railings upstairs could be easily circumvented by tiny tots, so be aware if you are bringing the younger kids that you will need some sort of barrier to protect them from falling. We found a few little critters in the cabin here and there - a grasshopper and a beetle in the shower, some other unknown bugs - but it only added to the charm, and what else do you expect being out in the woods? The kitchen had a miniature fridge, a cooktop, and a microwave, but we found ourselves eating picnic lunches near surrounding natural landmarks and eating yummy dinners at local restaurants. We fished and played in the creek, which was surprisingly clear and not too deep. (Next time we will bring more floats to just sit and relax.) Didn’t catch any fish, but we had fun rowing the provided canoe around for a bit trying to find the right spot. The property managers were around if we needed them, but we felt very much on our own during our three-night stay, which is exactly what we were looking for. This would be the perfect place to rent for an extended family, as there are several cabins of varying sizes available (four or five?). We’ve already decided which cabins our parents and siblings’ families will stay in if we come back as a large group. :)

Cozy get away
Our group stayed at the firehouse in late April of 2017. We had four adults, and three children under the age of 5. The cabin accommodated us nicely, the grounds were kept up, the people at the office were friendly. The activities at the creek (although we never got the chance to canoe or boat) seem like they would be a lot of fun. All around a great place to stay, and would love to come back!
