Summer vacation
This was our second year renting this home for our vacation. We enjoyed our vacation and the memories that were created but the house was not as clean as last year. We had to clean the house including the bathrooms when we arrived. There was also a fingernail left on the windowsill of the bedroom. A bit disappointed in the cleanliness but enjoyed our stay.

Everything about the trip was great from the beaches to the east navigation around the town. We checked in Saturday evening, then we left and went to the beach. The house was 79, ok no worrries no one was there to turn it down. Sunday the house would not get below 78-79 all day all night. Monday we called, we were told someone was going to show up Tuesday to check the air. No one showed or followed up with us. So we are gone again to the beaches again, come back to the house and it’s 77/78 degrees. They finally sent someone out, the air conditioner needed Freon and they charged it and the the house finally cooled down on Thursday to the lowest of 73 for about a hour and then it was a steady 74-75. When I asked the rental company for 1/2 my money back I was told by the woman “I will have to check with the owners, my house doesn’t get lower than 77, the air conditioners are built for 90 degree days not 100 degree days.” We understand that but we started calling in Monday and no one came u til Wednesday evening closer to 6 pm- so that was Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday and Wednesday- 5 if the 7 days if sitting in a house that was consistently between 77-80 degrees. I don’t feel this is acceptable. The house was great, I’m sure the real owners would have been more accommodating than the property managers.

Marco Island family vacation, 2023
This is our third year as a family in Marco Island. After using Clausen properties, the first year I have looked for properties, managed by them every time since then, and have been more than pleased with them all stays the staff has been nothing but accommodating and kind and I can’t wait to work with them again next year we absolutely enjoyed our stay and the home that we stayed in.

Great place for a family!
We had a great time! The house was amazing and clean. We rode bikes to the park nightly. We were located close to stores and restaurants as well as the beach access (had to drive and park). We loved the pool and the patio was great to sit outside and eat at. My kids didn’t want to leave, we will definitely be back!

Marco is the best!
Another great family holiday in Marco...furst at this property. Location was key...close.to.community centre where the 4 children went everyday. The heated pool was another big attraction and did not disappoint. The house met all our needs and we enjoyed our stay very much. The beach equipment and bicycles were a hit as well.

Like a home away from home.
Let me start by saying this home is absolutely stunning. It's beautiful, clean, and had such a comfortable and welcoming vibe. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding felt like a cloud to sleep in. Plenty of bed linens and towels. Plenty of dishes and cookware. We spent a lot of our time on the lanai area and in the pool. I just can't say enough good things about this place. I seriously miss the home! A couple days we just spent the entire day lounging around the home and the pool side because it was just perfect and so relaxing. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. We definitely want to return in the future. I wish the drive wasn't almost 16 hours because it would def be a frequent return.. but none the less we WILL be back!!

The property was okay. I began my vacation by sweeping us the sand left by the previous vacationers. After a week in this property, I would say that the amenities were somewhat tired. The kind size master bed mattress was worn and lumpy. The rusty umbrella that had seen better days, snapped and broke on our 4th day at the beach. There was a "House Rules" book in the living room. We found lots of rules about taking care of the carpet and upholstered furniture. However, the carpet had spots and the outdoor furniture was stained so we were confused by the book of rules. Lastly, we stayed during a heatwave so the pool, located in direct sun all day, was almost not usable (really hot water!). However we were charged $50 for the pool heater which we obviousely didn't use (the sun did that job!).

This house is very nice. Some furniture needs replacing as it isn’t comfortable to sit on for long periods. The lanai was very nice and we enjoyed the pool everyday! The house is well stocked with things to make a vacation enjoyable.
