Unwind and retreat at this newly re-decorated, refurbished and upgraded Marco Island home, outfitted with thoughtful details for every traveler and conveniently located 5 minutes to Marco Island’s award winning waterfront.

ABOUT:
Enjoy stories, artifacts and art collected by the owner over 20+ years of international travel, spanning 100 countries. This home has been lovingly decorated and this 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath home featuring garden facing lanai is available to rent seasonally from January - May, with a minimum 2 week rental requirement.

Being a seasoned traveler myself, the space is outfitted with many local guides, books, menus and recommendations to help you maximize your enjoyment of this unique part of Southwest Florida. Questions? Ask me anything.

Essentials

2 level townhome featuring 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

The Main Level features the kitchen, living room, screened in garden facing Lanai, full sized washer + full sized dryer + half bath.

Second level includes a LUXURY, newly remodeled (Dec. 2021) master bathroom, directly off the master bedroom for privacy. Here no expense was spared in furnishing it with porcelain / marble tiles and countertops and brushed-nickel fixtures. The walk-in shower has a luxurious spa-stone floor and is spacious enough for two. All lights are on dimmers to furnish a romantic mood.

The master bedroom features a king bed, generously sized walk-in master closet with built-in shelves and drawers, and a flat screen HDMI enabled cable television (not pictured but currently installed).

Guest bedroom features luxurious JW Marriott signature mattress, closet space and a full bath with tub + shower off the hallway.

A recently resurfaced outdoor heated pool is mere steps from your vacation home. Featuring a tiki hut, reclining chairs for sunbathing, a brand new gas grill and a beautiful newly re-surfaced patio for your enjoyment. Soak in the sun in the afternoon, enjoy your happy hour under the tiki cabana and grill up some of our local seafood on the grill for dinner. After hours, take a 6 minute walk to the waterfront Esplanade for ice cream, people watching and some star gazing.

Rent bicycles nearby and the beach and nature trails will be within 8-10 minutes of the unit.

Major Advantages of Staying at Sand Star Villas

Many Marco Island rental nits are in large, crowded, multi-level condominium developments where units are stacked on top of one another and you can hear your neighbors on all sides. At Sand Star Villas, there are only approximate 18-20 units arranged in two townhouse rows; no neighbors above or below you. The community is exceptionally quiet and is virtually never fully occupied, even during high season.

Many condominium developments on the island require you to park in a parking garage and walk a very long way, upstairs, by elevator and around past other units to reach your unit. At Sand Star Villas, you park directly in front of the unit and within 8-10 steps are comfortably inside the unit.

Very friendly residents nice location and pool area bed in master needs to be newer not comfortable.
Overall very positive experience for a good price ! Really our only negative is the master bed and that would be an easy fix 👍🙏

Amazing stay!
We found out 2 wks before we were to come to Marco Island that the condo was booked so we were scrambling. I found this place an communication back and forth was excellent. Kitchen was stocked with utinsels for anything we cooked. Pool was really close, they had towels, floats toys for the pool, an chairs for the beach which made beach days so much more enjoyable. The other guests were enjoyable, inviting us into their pool conversation get togethers. Just a fabulous time!!

Marco Island getaway
We highly recommend Matthew's condo to anyone wishing to explore Marco island! The unit is spacious, comfortable, and in a very quiet area. We felt like we were alone in the complex as well as the pool! We especially loved the close proximity to shopping and Tiger Tail Beach. 2 grocery stores are within 5 minute walk, many restaurants as well. Tiger tail beach is about 1 mile and we walked there daily. It is beautiful. Our only complaint is that we only booked 2 weeks..wish we would have stayed longer! Please check out the visitors center which is a short walk...they have great information. Also the Marco Island Historical Museum...it is free! (And walking distance). And don't miss the amazing ice cream/candy store Sweet Annie's only a block away. Our thank you to Matthew (and Glen)...we had a wonderful time!
